How do I make my site private (restrict access to it)?

Access can be restricted to users who sign in to your site via Single Sign-On (if you are on a Premium plan or above) or by a customizable IP address range (Ultimate plan only). Users who do not meet these requirements will get an “Access denied” message. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Sign in to your Admin Console
  2. From the sidebar, clicking Settings and choose General
  3. In the User Authentication section, find the Restrict Access to your Site row and click Edit
  4. Click the Restrict Access checkbox

To allow access only to those who have authenticated on your site, please make sure you have set up Single Sign-On. Please make sure to set the SSO Remote Sign-in URL in the User Authentication SSO settings.

To allow access only to those within a specific IP range, please add the address(es) in the Add IP box.

Make sure to save your settings at the bottom!
