Nice to have, but this hasn’t garnered large interest from other customers over time. Given the volume of ideas and our resources, unfortunately we will not be implementing this soon.

Hey Stephanie,
The reason you can’t do this is because our goal is to make the Admin Console friendly enough that, as an admin, you only interact with your forum via that interface. It simplifies things a lot and means we don’t have to build a bunch of heavy hidden admin tools into the front-end of your forum.
It sounds like we haven’t succeeded in this goal yet. :) I’m going to decline this idea, but I’d love to hear from you how we can make the Admin Console a place where you’re willing to spend your time.

This is kind of what I was looking for. Definitely not obvious...
It jumps to the user page, but then I still need to copy the URL. I just want a button that copies the URL to my clipboard so I can then send it to users via email.

I'm usually on the user site so I can copy and paste the URL to send this to users. Sometimes they contact me directly and I email them the link so they can vote/comment on the existing suggestion. How do I get this link from the admin site?

We upgraded plans so that we could have multiple forums, but we need different administrators for these forums, especially so that email notifications go to the right people! I couldn't find the forum names in any of my email notifications and therefore setting up a rule in Outlook didn't work.

This is available. We have Search on the Admin Console which is basically a filter. The search box is right under the logo. As soon as you select an idea to merge you can do a search again.

Oh - I see the search box over on the left side now. I had no idea that that would filter the stuff on the right. This isn't very helpful if I just wanted to search within one of the subtabs like Closed, Removed, etc.

We’ve updated our merge feature so that votes and comments are properly merged as well (if a user voted on both ideas, any votes in excess of 3 are returned to the user).
We’re not planning on merging descriptions, however. Admins can edit an idea’s title and description if necessary.

Yes, we would like to see more space for the description as well. It doesn't seem to be limited to a certain number of characters, but there's just not enough space on the screen to see what you're typing if it's long.

The ability for your end-users to add attachments to ideas is now available on our Premium and Ultimate plans (if you’re on a legacy plan, that would be Bronze and Gold)!
To activate:
1. Sign in to the Admin Console
2. Go to Feedback Settings

In early 2010 we rolled out new email notifications that inherit the site’s logo and background color.

Why doesn't the email have the same formatting as the posting? It wraps on one line in the email making it hard to read, but on the page there are nice line breaks.
