Today we launched a brand-new, fully interactive widget for all UserVoice Feedback customers. Your users can search ideas, vote for ideas, and submit ideas all from this widget. Additionally, you have the ability to customize many elements of the new widget, from color to text to location.
Thanks for your patience in regards to the launch of the interactive widget…we heard your feedback and spent a lot of time doing this right, and we know it’s been awhile. We can’t wait to hear what you think of the new widget (good and bad). We think you’ll like it. :)

Right now you limit comment size. We have users who write wonderful paragraphs of dialog back and forth that is very, very helpful. This isn't twitter, they are called "Feedback **Forums**" after all.

The ability for your end-users to add attachments to ideas is now available on our Premium and Ultimate plans (if you’re on a legacy plan, that would be Bronze and Gold)!
To activate:
1. Sign in to the Admin Console
2. Go to Feedback Settings
3. Click “Enable” next to Idea AttachmentsThanks to everyone for their patience and persistence regarding this idea! Please let us know if you have any issues or feedback.
I think this is a great idea. We've had several of ours users actually go to the effort of mocking up ideas for others to see to try and show their point.

Users should be able to delete an idea they create before it gets any activity. We’re also considering allowing users to edit their own content within 15 minutes.

Our new Activity Stream on the Dashboard provides this functionality. You can also show/hide certain types of events in the stream by clicking on the totals in the table header.

This is an ongoing process for us; our “Hot” algorithm gets updated from time to time.
If you prefer that your users see hot ideas by default, you can change the default tab in your forum settings.
in the current size constraints of the Feedback widget, the thing this basically sets up is, "which of the top four things do you want most."
if there is going to be voting from the widget, there should be two version, a small "preview' version like the current one, and one that is a little larger and incorporates some of the suggestions above "Top 3 in votes, Top 3 movers this week.. " etc
