  3. When selecting labels, auto select the upper tiers if a lower tier is selected

    When selecting labels, auto select the upper tiers if a lower tier is selected.

    IE
    Category

    Sub-Category

    If I choose the Sub-Category label, then the Category level should autoselect. This way no matter if I filter by Category or Sub-Category labels, I will find what I am looking for.

  4. The translated UV widget should map to the feedback forum that is translated to the same language

    We recently implemented the translated UV widget (https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/200955-change-the-language-of-the-widget-ui-based-on-the), but it seems to have a key limitation of only mapping to the first feedback forum created, which is our American English feedback forum. This is a blocking issue as it means that when using the UV widget, users can see the widget translated into another language, but their idea searches come back with American English results and their idea postings post to our American English forums which our language specialists do not monitor. See attached for examples.

    We met with a UV rep twice before implementing the translated widget…

  5. Make ability to export user data a permission

    For GDPR concerns, we'd like to be able to limit which of our admin users can export User Data to a csv. It's a great feature - but represents a compliance concern for our moderators who don't need access to this data.

  6. Please move the ''Mark as Spam'' much lower than the ''Merge'' button from Options

    It's too easy to accidentally click on it, and then we have to go to Spam to unmark them.

  7. Allow Drag and Drop of images to UserVoice suggestion attachment panel

    Add drag-n-drop support for image/attachments to the UserVoice widget.

    Currently drag and dropping an image into the "Post an Idea" attachment area results in the browser or application loading the image. The panel should interpret dropped content as attachments to prevent applications relying on this panel experience to be in unusable states.

    This is about a feature suggestion (i strongly recommend).

    UserVoice is a really good thing, as it allows direct consumer-to-developer-feedback and also gives a crowd based rating of the importance. But it cannot fully stress the importance of a single problem (because the only curency are the voices, which are limited to make them valueable; but if someone contributes to many topics he has to give less voices e.g.; or you are limited with one voice for one suggestions and so on). It would be nice, if…

  9. Sort forums consistently in admin console, web portal, and settings

    In the suggestion setting of the admin console, forums are ordered by the number of suggestions in each forum with public forums grouped at the top of the list. On the web portal and in the admin console settings, forums are shown in alphabetical order. It would be helpful to have this order be consistent in all 3 places, or let admins choose their own order.

  10. Provide the ability to search comments within a single topic.

    I want to search existing comments on a topic to avoid posting something if it has already been said. Manually scanning comments is too burdensome if there are many comments (>50, >75, some significant number).

  11. Import Domains for a private forums

    When authorizing domains for a private forum, you must add them one by one in the settings. It would be ideal if admins could import a list of email domains. This is important for an account that needs to import multiple domains for a single private forum.

    Currently the Salesforce customer trait sync, only syncs user and account traits for customers. Some customers would also like to sync traits for their leads.

    Hey there! We recently launched Account Insights which is powered by a new UserVoice/Salesforce connector. This connector allows you to map Salesforce Accounts to a status in UserVoice called “Prospects”. We’re not yet syncing Opportunity Objects from Salesforce to UserVoice, but are interested in learning more about what you’d do with this information once it’s in UserVoice.

  15. Ability to enhance search results by creating keyword associations.

    Example: Someone could be providing feedback on the "widget" but the word they use is "pop-up".

    This would be especially helpful for companies that have custom names for functionality that may not be obvious to their users.

  17. VSTS for UserVoice Integration should enforce the same permission per user as is set in the VSTS instance linked to the UV subdomain

    For example, If a user only has read access to a project in a VSTS instance, through the UV integration, that user shouldn't be able to create issues in that project.

  18. Sort Suggestions by Description

    Sort suggestions by descriptions. Only my team manages descriptions but all of our employees can submit suggestions. I need to make sure every suggestion has a description or details and right now I have to scroll through a long list to find the ones that don't have a description. Allow me to sort by description so that these are easier to find.

  19. The UI for managing the public status needs a Usability tweak.

    Love the new ability to set/manage an internal status. However, there's room for improvement for the iconography with the public status, see attachment.

    The status icon is using a globe (for public) not the grey dot for under review status.

    It also remains 'open' after posting a status which makes it seem like it doesn't have a status assigned. It might be better to auto-close it after setting the status.
