Filter should have 'and' logic as default To reduce the number ideas filtered by search, the keywords should be applied with 'and' logic by default.
At the moment, the number of findings increases if you add more key words.
But to make UserVoice a success, it's important to reduce the number of findings to come out with max 10-20 search results to allow the user to find already existing ones for voting instead of entering a new one.
If the search result exceeds 20+, it would be to time consuming for checking all the results and as result, UserVoice would end-up with redundant requests (idea) as in…14 votesHey there!

While we don't support 'and' logic to filter keyword search results by default, we do provide search operators that can be used to further refine the results of your keyword searches. Take a look at this resource to learn more.

Ideas Widget for Private Forums I have a private forum for a feature that is in beta. I would like to have a widget in this new feature that works with the private forum that I have configured for its beta feedback. I am currently working around this by having the widget create a ticket in a queue instead of a suggestion in a forum. I then evaluate the ticket and create a suggestion for it in the forum. Having the widget save suggestions directly to the forum would cut down on my workload and would also provide appropriate instant answers within the widget.

Hi everyone!
We have added this functionality to the product. You can now follow up 1:1 with the user who creates an idea, comments on it or who had a request captured by a contributor.
When the user replies, their reply will be captured within UserVoice as well, so you can keep the conversation within UserVoice.

Quickly remove labels from list view From a list view, have the ability to remove labels quickly. Right now you need to open the labels and scroll to find the label to deselect it. Can we add a "X" to the label button in the list view to remove quickly (or something similar)?

On the idea grid, labels can now be removed from an idea without opening the label picker. Hovering over a label will reveal an (x) that can be used to clear that label from the idea.

Bulk label actions Be able to apply/remove labels to ideas in bulk
38 votesBulk label modification is now available! From the Suggestions grid you will be able to select multiple items and then use the new “Modify Labels” option under the More Actions menu. You will see the current status of the labels on your selection, and will be able to add or remove labels across the entire selection. There will be an undo option after completing this action. Automtically remind inactive contributors to capture feedback Take the burden of admins/leads and provide means to re-engage contributors who are inactive or have never used their contributor licenses.
3 votesEarlier this month we launched a monthly Contributor Insights email. Similar to the Admin Insights email, the Contributor Insights email notifies contributors of recent status updates and their activity. If they haven’t been active, the email will prompt them to add feedback.

Allow end users to unsubcribe from email notifications with one click from the email Right now, when you click "unsubscribe" on one of our email notifications, it takes you to the web portal notification settings.
This requires you to login.
It would be better if you could click "unsubscribe" and be globally unsubscribed from notifications for that UserVoice subdomain, without having to login again.

Microsoft Account (MSA) SSO Provide SSO support for MSA. MSA encompasses Microsoft provided accounts, such as @live, @hotmail, and @microsoft only.
Adding this support would allow a forum to remain public, while still being mandatory for users to sign in to their MS account if they want to leave feedback, vote, or comment on an idea.

Bulk status updates Change the status of one or more suggestions at once when viewing a list of suggestions.

We’ve recently made it possible for admins to send status updates (public and internal) on multiple suggestions at a time.
On the suggestion grid, in the admin console, see “More Actions” when selecting more than one suggestion.

VSTS integration with Features Easily push a feature to VSTS as a Bug or Requirement or User Story work item that contains a link back to the Feature in UserVoice.

Don't include completed ideas in searches I went to link a ticket to an idea, and it showed me oodles of completed ideas. That would be good as an option, but not in the default view. It should really separate out completed ideas.

Thanks for this feedback. Idea grid search will respect all filter configurations. That is, excluding a public status of "completed" via the Public Status filter will exclude ideas in that status from any and all keyword search results.

Export files in .xlsx format It used to be that I could export and get a link to different file types. Excel seems to be taken away, unless you're exporting data from the Settings panel.
CSV opens a browser tab of unreadable information. Not super helpful.

Display an account’s feedback in contributor sidebar When using the contributor sidebar, be able to pull up an account's supported suggestions, not just a user's.

Customer feedback in Slack can be easily sent to UserVoice We have a public channel in slack for our customer community. We can use the sidebar to capture feedback on top of the Slack web client, but we would also like to be able to use it in the desktop client.

Allow contributors to capture feedback on the forum (web portal) When a support person is viewing a suggestion on the forum website, allow them to quickly add customers to an idea. The suggestion that they are viewing should be automatically selected in the sidebar 'capture request' form.

Filter feedback by user segments Allow filtering suggestions and related suggestion metrics (like # of supporters and comments) by supporter traits, to help find out which feedback has come from specific user segments and measure interest from those segments.
76 votesYou can now analyze feedback by customer segment and identify each segment’s top needs, all within the UserVoice admin console.
Create custom segments based on the user and account traits that you pass into UserVoice; for example, user type, MRR, company size, or industry. You can also create segments by country, even if you are not passing traits into UserVoice.

Disable comment for completed and closed ideas Once an idea is completed or closed I want to disable comments on that idea to avoid redundancy of comments from users and admin.
1 voteYou can now configure a ‘status’ to disallow new votes and/or new comments. This applies to all ideas that are in that status. To update your status configurations go to Settings → Feedback Forums → Statuses and then edit the statuses as desired.

Ability to sort/prioritise features Within the new feature dashboard provide the ability to manually re-order the items to form a backlog.

Be able to filter suggestions that have no label at all You can filter by ideas that:
Don't have a status
Don't have a categoryBut not those that don't have a label.
I want to do this because I am focusing on bringing up non-labeled items up to date by applying labels.
