Hey there! 👋
This week we released Custom Fields on ideas for internal use. This solves a problem for much of the feedback we received on this idea, but not all of it. We will keep this idea open for additional feedback and votes, but for those who were requesting better ways to organize ideas internally, we hope you enjoy our new release! You can read more about it here.
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedI think that is the right choice to defer this project. This may be a nice feature in the future, but I would prefer to see more small enhancements and smaller additions and polishing to existing features.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedThis actually already works. You can use domain.uservoice.com/suggestions/id
Also, even if you have the wrong forum listed in the URL, UserVoice is smart enough to figure it out and redirect to the correct page based on the idea ID.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedSubscribing to a forum or category would be useful so customers can get updates. We are considering using a UserVoice forum for bugs and this would be helpful.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedI would like more granular permissions, including the ability to allow users to Add Voters, enter private comments, maybe even edit titles, and various other things, but I would not necessarily want them to be able to change status. It seems odd that Limited accounts as of today can create new ideas, but not add voters to existing ideas.

Hi Everyone,
We have reviewed this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!
An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedI disagree with the decision to defer this. I think the functionality of adding a display name should exist in any place a new contact can be added. It seems to work fine in the portal, and the admin site, except for the contributor sidebar. The fact that it's difficult to correct this data afterwards is also another factor.

Hello,
This is currently how this feature works; when feedback is provided by a contributor on behalf of a user, that user is counted as a voter for the idea. If this is not how it is working for you, please let us know and we can investigate it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedI am pretty sure when submitting via the contributor sidebar, and associating it to a user, it always includes them on the Users tab. Perhaps this was already fixed?

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedCould you provide some more context on this idea? I’m not sure what you mean by “one place”. Isn’t that one place the portal?

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedI think since the old webhooks method supported it, it should be with the new method as well. I will say the nature of Slack seems to be public first, so I would bet most want it in a public channel anyway.

Hello 👋,
Thank you for your feedback on this idea.
We’ve recently introduced a 'Public (external)' share option for any Kanban style roadmap you create that allows for easy sharing of your roadmap in a public context. Visitors to the roadmap don't have to authenticate in order to view features across all statuses, filter by product area, explore additional feature details, or quickly access your web portal to leave further feedback.
Thanks again for your continued support.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kevin Praeger commentedThis would be useful, but there are bigger fish to fry. I’m adding to my comment here. It’s actually annoying not being able to hard delete.

I happened to notice that when you evaluated this in 2020, there was 39 voters. Now there are 381. It might be worth re-evaluating this request.
