Change who tickets are assigned to by default

Default assignees are set via a rule, which is a powerful method for affecting tickets before they even get to you. You can change this rule by:

  1. Sign in to the Admin Console.
  2. Click on "Settings" in the Admin Header.
  3. Choose "Tickets" from the drop down menu.
  4. Scroll down to "Rules" and edit the Default rule.
  5. Switching the assignee to whomever you want, save.
