Allow admins to select which forums they receive activity notifications for
Each forum is intended for a certain product which has it's own product manager. These managers would like notifications any time a new idea is posted in that forum versus other forums.

Notifications on a per-forum basis is lacking. Not all forums are created equal and allowing forum monitors to receive notifications or daily report will be important if activity is posted to the forum being monitored.

I learned about the customer view recently and that seems to be pretty much what i need. By creating the custom views, it automatically subscribe me to all things related to those views.
Since this idea is still open, is it something extra than that?

If the current blanket settings were forum specific that would be a perfect solution for us. This would allow each administrator to only receive the notifications that concern their department/forum, but also have the flexibility for them to receive notifications from other forums that they may be interested in.

This would be helpful to be able to control which feedback is relevant to the forums I'm managing. I get enough email SPAM as it is and it would be nice to be able to control this within Uservoice and not have to setup even more email filters.

This would be huge for us.

This would be incredibly useful for those customers who have multiple forums on their site. This would allow Product Managers, or whomever manages the feedback, to only receive relevant feedback for their Products/topics, etc.

Agreed. Currently I am forced to pick the broader umbrella of cloud hosting. I would instead like to be alerted whenever a customer tags feedback with Cloud Orchestration or uses the keyword orchestration or heat in their feedback. Would love to see this happen. Without this I am afraid my inbox will fill up so much that I will start ignoring the feedback emails.

I support a particular technology in RaaS. As of today, my inbox is spammed with quite a number of notifications that are not relevant to my technology or forum. At one point, I started to ignore all notifications as out of every 100 submissions less than about 5% - 10% are of my interest. I strongly vote for this feature.

This would be a great enhancement. In addition (being greedy here), it would be helpful to extend the notification subscription to the Forum Category level. Our Forum includes more then 15 categories and product managers (admins) oversee only some of these categories.

Would really like this feature, as I get e-mails from the multiple forums we have set up with UserVoice. Rather than just a source e-mail address or something in the subject, I'd prefer if it actually filtered e-mails based on subscription (or something to that effect), so that the daily summary didn't include suggestions from all forums.
