  1. Need a filter for open Ideas that contain the blocker flag

    There is no simple way to filter all ideas that contain blockers. We should also be able to pull up reports on accounts and users who have left feedback marked blocker. Pulling reports or setting up your API is not an easy solution that will help. Please add a filter to include all blocker feedback.

    Hey there, while we haven't implemented this exact request, we have recently made changes that allow you to:

    • Filter the activity and moderation page by ideas with flags
    • Sort the idea grid by ideas that have flags that have not yet been cleared
  2. Allow anonymous suggestions

    Don't require users to enter an email address when posting suggestions or comments on specific forums.

    A core value of UserVoice is communication, allowing Product Managers not only to hear from users, but communicate back to them around their feedback.

    We also help Product Managers when evaluating ideas, not only see how many people want it, but who those people are, enabling them to make data driven decisions.

    Anonymous suggestions don’t allow either of those, and aren’t part of our vision for the product at this time.

    While we are saying “no” to this particular idea, please keep sharing. We do appreciate you sharing your thoughts and product needs with us!

  3. Add an Idea ID or identifier to the idea properties

    With no identifier on the suggestions or ID listed in the properties, there is no quick way to track ideas or send one to a coworker for easy search other than the URL.

    Hello – We include “ID” as a property on an idea. This can be found in the “Properties” section on an idea’s detail sheet (screenshot attached). Admins can search for this ID from the Ideas page to locate the idea.

  4. When Roadmap item is completed, automatically set completed status on linked suggestions

    If a Roadmap Item is addressing several Suggestions, implement an option for informing (email notification) at once all suggestions creators.

  5. See, update status and link back to linked ideas in features / roadmap detail view

    Just like linked jira issues. I think it would be helpful for users to be able to see all of the linked ideas in the detail view, their status, and have the opportunity to click back to the linked issue. An additional benefit would be to be able to update status' directly from this view so as they move the feature internally, they have the ability to also move forward the idea.

  6. Shows suggestions associated with an account in Salesforce report

    With the Feedback and Opportunity integration, you can't see the suggestions associated to each account in the Salesforce reports.

    Customers want to see this data, so they can report on adoption and completed ideas they've delivered for customers.

    Hey there! We recently launched Account Insights which is powered by a new UserVoice/Salesforce connector. This connector allows you to map Salesforce Accounts to a status in UserVoice called “Prospects” which would allow you to view all ideas associated with Prospects. We’re not yet syncing Opportunity Objects from Salesforce to UserVoice nor providing additional reporting withing SFDC.

  7. Capture feedback from customer without an email address

    We would like to capture feedback from people who don't have an email address and either use an alternative identifier (ex. twitter handle, name) or leave it as anonymous.

    For now, this is not functionality we will be implementing.

    There are two primary reasons for this:

    • When someone provides feedback, it’s in the best interest of the company to whom they provided it to follow up, either with status information or to ask for further detail about the problem to be solved or implementation specifics. Without knowing who to contact, product teams are left making assumptions about intent and solution, and often this can lead to a misfire.
    • Perhaps more importantly, without knowing who provided the feedback, product teams are left without context – is the feedback coming from a current customer? A prospect? What role do they fill and what are the jobs they’re trying to complete?

    I do want to acknowledge that there is some value in feedback no matter whether it’s got attribution or not, so this is a decision we may re-visit in the future.…

    Hello?,

    We’d love to hear a little more about how you’d want to use custom date range filtering on the Idea Insights report.

    Today, the Idea Insights report give you a snapshot of activity in the last 30 days (chatty, trending, this just in) as well as last 6 months (inactive, no status updates in a while).

    Is the goal to customize the date range of one of these section? Both?

  9. Add place to post guidelines, instructions for a forum.

    Want to be able to post announcements and guidelines for the forum. While you can add some content in the welcome or forum message, these distract from user engaging with the forums.

    Would like to be able to post rich content that displays within the overall UV experience.

  10. Create team dialog show existing team names

    In Admin Settings, the Create team dialog should show the currently assigned team, if it is assigned already. I'm trying to bulk assign contributor team members that haven't been assigned yet and it's very difficult and tedious currently.

  14. Slack integration--search for and link ideas in Slack threads

    Currently you can only search for an idea using the Slack integration in the main message field of a channel. We REALLY need to be able to use the /uservoice-search command within a thread on an existing message so that when an internal team member asks a question related to an existing UV idea, we can easily link them to the existing idea in the thread of that original message.

    Hey all,

    Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide this feature.

    Looking into this a bit more and collaborating with the team at Slack we learned that Slash commands in threads is not functionality they support.

    We’ll have to hold tight until Slack supports this before we can make this available for the UserVoice to Slack Integration.

    Sorry I don’t have better news here.

  16. Sidebar push parent page content over

    When capturing feedback on a page, the Sidebar at times covers up relevant content. would be ideal if it pushed the parent page content over, or wrapped to the sidebar.

  19. Pull a list of all SF opportunities linked to a specific idea

    It's incredibly important that we be able to pull a report/list of all of the prospects/opportunities that we have linked to a specific UserVoice idea through the Salesforce Opportunity Integration to provide our sales team with a list of prospects to reach out to regarding specific ideas. Just being able to see the numer values in the Suggestions List View is not enough.

  20. Include leads in Salesforce customer traits sync

    Currently the Salesforce customer trait sync, only syncs user and account traits for customers. Some customers would also like to sync traits for their leads.
