  2. Pass through SAML authentication

    If a user is already logged in with a customer's identity provider, pass through that authentication to UserVoice.

    This is especially important if an account is using SAML and UserVoice authentication together. If that is the case, then end users who log in with SAML, have to click the icon to get logged in.

    Ideally, the user would be automatically authenticated if they had already logged in with the customer's identity provider.

  3. Add a "Watch" button

    By clicking on the "Watch" button for a suggestion, a user would be notified on changes related to this suggestion, as if he had voted or commented on.
    I would be useful for a user who wants to follow up an idea but does not want to vote for it, an admin for example.

    With the addition of customizable importance ratings and the option to have them count or not count as votes, you can offer end users multiple ways of receiving notifications.

  5. Block new submissions and keep the voting option.

    Currently it was necessary to block new submissions, however we need to keep the voting option in the suggestions that have already been created.

  8. Suggestion link in merge dialogue should open in the Admin Console

    When clicking a Suggestion link, in the Suggestion merge dialogue, the link takes you out to the web portal.

    As I'm in the Admin Console, this interrupts my workflow. I would expect the Suggestion to open in the Admin Console also as this is where I'm working.

  10. Ability to unlink suggestions from the feature level

    As an admin, I'd like the ability to unlink a suggestion from the feature view rather than be redirected to the suggestion in order to unlink the feature. This function should also be permitted on the feature level.

  11. Ability to filter the roadmap view by custom field labels such as sprint names or dates

    If our feature backlog gets overloaded, so to will the view for internal folks that have access to it.

    It would be great if we could filter the kanban view of status columns by a custom field.

  14. Ability to link Customer Feedback Directly to Features

    Once you have a feature that you are considering, it would be helpful to be able to link feedback that is specifically about that feature directly to it, rather than having to find an intermediary idea first.

  15. Increase idea description character limit

    The character limit for the idea description field is currently 10,000. Some users are running out of space when creating ideas and would like the limit to be increased.

    Thank you for your feedback around this. Our Product team discussed this and decided this is not a product priority at this time.

    We do recommend if users are posting longer ideas, to look at using our idea attachment feature to attach additional data to an idea.

    We will leave this idea open for voting, and if we start to hear from more customers around this, we will consider revisiting.

    In the Feedback grid, you can see the number of comments or supporters on a suggestion.

    It would be useful for some use cases to also see the number of requests on a suggestion (could include multiple requests from the same user email address).
