3 votesInternal Comments is now Team Chat!
A new interface for internal collaboration has been released to improve on the way Internal Comments work. Look for Team Chat on the right rail of the Idea Details page.
- @mentions have been improved
- attachments (images and videos) now have an inline preview
- multiple attachments can be added at once
In addition, Public Comments are now their own control, with no overlap with the way internal comments used to work. When using the "Post Public Comment" button on the Idea Details page, only Public Comments can be made. We hope the additional labeling adds clarity and reduces steps.
Admins with Read Only access are also able to participate in Team Chat. Look for further improvements to the Read Only role that will help contributors soon!

Label menu to be uncollapsed When clicking the + sign on the Idea grid to add a label, the list is collapsed by default resulting in an added click. Would recommend that when the + is clicked, the list is open for quick selection
1 vote💫We're thrilled to announce updates to our labeling experience! We prioritized ease of use and to make label application faster. In addition to our coming label recommendations, we hope these productivity enhancements make Idea triage even easier.
🚀 Here are the improvements we made:
- We added expand all/collapse all functionality on all label dialogs
- We made the expanded state the default experience everywhere that labels have already been applied
- Exposed label settings are accessible everywhere labels can be applied, so that the creation of new labels is always available
- We unified the label modal across all areas where label application is used
- The label modal is larger so that longer labels are easier to read and you can see more labels in the window
- Performance increases come along with the updated label modal
- When you open the label dialog, the search box is automatically in focus, so you can just…

Highlight search terms In the old UI, if I searched for keywords those words would be highlighted in any search results. This made it easier to find the ideas we were looking for.

Create Idea Directly From The New Idea Grid. On the original idea grid, there was a "Create Idea" button towards the top of the grid.
This new idea grid does not have that.
3 votesTo create a new Idea from the Idea Grid (or at any time within the UserVoice admin console), click the (+) icon in the main menu.
You can also set who you want the creator of the Idea to be, in case you're capturing the idea on behalf of another person.

Allow me to see all my saved views in the dropdown The new Saved View dropdown only shows the first 20 saved views. I have several others that do not show. Please add these other views to the dropdown so I don't need to click into Manage Views to access them.

Sort Average of Importance Column in the Idea Grid be able to sort the idea grid by average of importance for the importance feature rating.

You can now also:
- Edit the importance rating labels by going to your Web Portal Settings
- Enable/disable importance ratings per forum
- View importance rating information from the Idea Grid exports
- View importance rating responses per user and account

We've updated subscribing end users to updates to be on by default, but if you change this selection, we'll remember your preference so you don't have to keep changing it every time.

Add custom variables to ideas Have the ability to add custom variables to ideas

On the idea grid, allow the Idea Title Copy/Paste to include the hyperlink In the previous list view, when I highlighted the idea title and copy, the paste included the URL. The new list view does not include the URL.
This made it very fast for me to share a link with a team.

New List View: For filters move Clear All button to Top In the new list view UX, within the filters sidebar, can you please move the "Clear All" button to the top. For long lists, like labels, that's a lot of scrolling that I need to do now.

We've made at update so that the "Clear All" will remain sticky as you scroll long lists of labels, Public Statuses, Forums etc. This should eliminate the amount of scrolling needed to clear selected filters when working with a large number of filters.

Filter in the Ideas Grid for Flagged Ideas Adding a filter in the all ideas grid to view flagged ideas to easily manage these ideas in one place rather than going back and forth between the all ideas grid and the flagged ideas tab
3 votesWe have added a column to the idea grid that surfaces the number of active flags on an idea. You can sort by this column to view which ideas have the most or least number of flags.

Adding new ideas from the admin console is confusing. While adding new ideas from the admin console, nothing happens after clicking save. It would be helpful if the new idea could be opened in a new tab or in the existing one so that I could proceed working on it.

Give admins the ability to flag an idea as important from the admin console Add the ability for admin users to set this flag on ideas already submitted for internal communication processes.
This can only be done today from the contributor console or contributor sidebar.

New Idea Grid - Make Internal Status Colors more Visible With the new list view, the internal status colors are now only represented by a thin line and small dot. These get lost in the list view and are not easy to quickly differentiate. See attached.
Suggestion: Fill the boxes with the appropriate color similar to the previous view

Additional filters for last updated status date An additional filter to narrow down the last updated status date (by adding custom datr range) to help in decreasing the number of ideas that are breaching SLA response times

Filter ideas in the idea grid by custom segments The ability to filter ideas based on custom segments created in UserVoice (i.e. viewing ideas submitted by a user in a specific country). Labels won't work since they need to be applied manually.
5 votesThere is now an advanced filter available to limit the grid by custom segment values. Creating new custom segments will allow you to use custom fields (and combinations of them) as a filter on the grid.

Wider search bar for the admin console idea grid It would be more convenient to have the search field wider or just bigger, where the text can be easily edited being fully visible. This might optimize the process of searching for an idea to merge into.

I want be able to click a 'add feedback' button from the idea I currently have open. It would be much easier to find my idea first by searching in the table. Then being about to click an "add new feedback" button from inside the idea card. Currently it is very annoying to have to click the add button from the side bar and have to re-enter all the same information.
1 voteHey there! We have a few quick ways to add feedback to an existing idea. If you don't want to use the Add button in the site navigation, you can add feedback to an idea directly from the idea detail page. Search for an idea > open it > top right corner click Options > Select Add Voter.

Remove flags from flagged ideas when they are no longer needed. Hi there,
The new ability for users capturing Feedback to flag an idea as important is awesome! It would be great if we could extend this functionality in a couple of ways:
- Add ability for admin users to remove flags once they have served their purpose.
- Add the ability for admin users to set this flag on ideas already submitted for internal communication processes.

A couple weeks back we introduced a feature called “Clear Flag” that allows users to remove a flag from an idea when it is no longer needed. This new feature is easily found when reviewing notes left on any flagged ideas.
Additionally, this idea had two separate and very good ideas that we have not yet built features for: allowing admins to flag ideas from the admin console and allowing admins to get notified via email when an idea has been flagged as important.
