Capture Customer Email in slack integration capture customer email in slack integration rather than my own
4 votesWe have updated this experience so that when you send an idea from Slack via the integration, UserVoice will pre-fill the email capturing the person who originally came up with the idea rather than the idea / feedback submitter.

Detect Windows versions properly Whenever a user posts an idea, their browser version is detected and the OS is guessed.
We figured out UserVoice can’t tell Windows 10 from Windows 11 — which was crucial for a certain problem users encountered.
I don’t know if it’s technically possible to properly detect OS, but at least it should be named 'Windows 10/11', if UV can’t distinguish these.1 voteThanks for letting us know, Egor. We have made a change so this will now display "Windows 10/11".

Idea details - Ability to set a default for comment type (Public/Internal) Idea details view (NEW)
- Default the radio option of a comment based on the tab selected.
For example - if you click on Internal Comments, the radio option for the comment should default to 'Internal' whereas currently this defaults to Public regardless of the tab you select.

On the detailed idea sheet, the default option for public versus internal comments will now always respect the quick filter (Comments and Feedback or Internal Comments) that you have selected.

You can now quickly create a Feature from an Idea!
From any Idea Detail sheet, click on the "Roadmaps" tab, then use the "+ Add Idea to Roadmap" button to quickly create a new Feature. We'll copy in the Idea Title and Idea Description for you, and automatically link the idea. You'll be able to make edits as you see fit as well.
Let us know if there are any additional improvements we can make!

Clear custom date fields Custom date fields can not be cleared when created.
We use a custom field for 'follow up' date on ideas, however once added, this date can not be removed.
It would keep our data cleaner to not have unneeded fields on ideas once we've followed up.

Bug in edit dialog If I edit an idea, then close a window with that idea the edit dialog reopens. I think this may be a bug? It's happened a few times since the last updates

New admin UI not respecting code snippets/blocks The new UI that was introduced today in the Admin Console is not accepting plain text code snippets. Our clients tend to copy and paste source code into feedback. In the new UI for admins, these snippets are being treated like active code, and therefore, we can not read or interpret what is being asked.

Bulk edit idea custom fields from list view the new custom fields and filters are great. just need bulk actions to take it even further. especially helpful for backfilling prior ideas with the new data.

Ability to toggle on/off Importance Rating Enable or disable the importance rating feature based upon forum

Increase the maximum number of options for the Select List type Idea Custom Field. The current maximum for the select list idea custom field is 50 selections. Please consider increasing this.

Harassing emails One of our employees complains that she receives a lot of SPAM messages from USERVOICE.
I am attaching a screenshot and asking you to take care of it.1 voteOur Technical Success team was alerted to a SPAM issues that occurred Feb 12-13 across multiple accounts. We've since moved these tickets to SPAM inboxes and deleted all of the created SPAM accounts.

Thanks for your feedback on this one! You can now view and sort each user's importance rating on an idea as well as each account's average importance rating.

Display Product Area on Roadmap Cards Previously on the Roadmap the Product Area displayed on the card view. In the refresh, it's been removed. I used Product Area to display the team the initiative has been assigned to and it was useful to see. Please add it back to the card OR provide an option to customize the card format. The icons for revenue, ideas, etc are less useful to me.

Highlight search terms In the old UI, if I searched for keywords those words would be highlighted in any search results. This made it easier to find the ideas we were looking for.

Stop censoring a combination of words, where the second one is Wand, the first one is Magic There is a tool in both Illustrator and Photoshop called with a combination of two words, as the title says. I’m not even trying to say it fully here, because it might probably turn in ***** too, as it does at illustrator.uservoice.com.
I am not seeing a way to edit auto-replace filters and suppose it’s up to you.Here is a report from an enraged Illustrator’s customer about it:

Create Idea Directly From The New Idea Grid. On the original idea grid, there was a "Create Idea" button towards the top of the grid.
This new idea grid does not have that.
3 votesTo create a new Idea from the Idea Grid (or at any time within the UserVoice admin console), click the (+) icon in the main menu.
You can also set who you want the creator of the Idea to be, in case you're capturing the idea on behalf of another person.

Allow me to see all my saved views in the dropdown The new Saved View dropdown only shows the first 20 saved views. I have several others that do not show. Please add these other views to the dropdown so I don't need to click into Manage Views to access them.

Sort Average of Importance Column in the Idea Grid be able to sort the idea grid by average of importance for the importance feature rating.

You can now also:
- Edit the importance rating labels by going to your Web Portal Settings
- Enable/disable importance ratings per forum
- View importance rating information from the Idea Grid exports
- View importance rating responses per user and account

Have Jira issues created from UserVoice reflect the Jira instance's default priority When creating a Jira issue from UserVoice, the Jira priority is set at the highest. It would be great if the integration could be updated to reflect our jira's default priority or default to medium.
