Identify which admin user performed the activity of creating an idea with the 'idea creator' field
Be able to identify which admin user submitted an idea with the use of the 'idea creator' field.
You're now able to see both who the feedback was from and the name of the admin who captured the feedback.
Right under the description on the Idea Detail sheet, you'll see a line that says:
Created by: (Whose feedback was it) via (Who captured the feedback) | (Date Created)
Let us know if we should make this information available elsewhere!

This came up again for us. I had to open a support case in order to find out which admin submitted an idea for a customers.
In our implementation, customers do not currently have access. Even if they did, i would want to know who submitted the idea. Without knowing this, we don't know who internally should we ask for more information on an idea. This would be the case even if it was internally submitted, they may more details they can post without having to ask the customer for more details.

We currently only allow Company employees to submit /update... ideas. Portal is not exposed to customers.
When an employee creates a new idea and uses "idea creator" we don't know who submitted the idea and we are unable to notify the person of a idea status change and they should notify their customer. -

To manage feedback well and help with product decisions, just keep track of who comes up with each idea using the ‘idea creator’ field.
