    Similar to the Admin Digest Email, send end users who have participated in UserVoice forums/widgets updates on the latest news from the product team.

  3. Email All Users in UserVoice

    Similar to emailing all supporters of an idea, we would like to email all users in UV to ask for more feedback. We know these users have provided feedback before, so we would like to get their input on future roadmap items, and communicate with that group as a whole

  4. Show who is getting notified of public status updates

    When you make a public status update, a message "Email x subscribers" shows.

    This number, x, is the total number of voters who are subscribed and don't have status updates turned of in their global notification preferences AND admins who do have the admin notification preference for all status updates.

    We do not surface this clearly in the UI, and we should either provide explanatory text as to what this number includes, or somehow surface who is getting notified.

    It could be just a list of the admins who will get notified, since they aren't included in the "Users" tab…

  5. 'Bug' when sending feedback

    'Bug' when sending feedback

    When sending feedback always occurs at the moment the feedback (comment) is sent because I can check the page my comments but the loading animation (sending) does not disappear even after the feedback is sent. I apologize but my hardware is weak, my processor has two cores that operate at 1.2 GHz. If you have any related code in javascript please note if the snippets of code are promises if necessary and if the promises are well handled.

  6. Do not combine unrelated email threads based on subject line

    Stop combining unrelated, independent email threads when different senders happen to choose the same subject. It is cumbersome to deal with the artificial problems introduced when separate email chains with no shared history are automatically merged.

  7. Option to specify Mail Server Settings

    Provide options to specify server address/protocol/credentials (POP, IMAP, SMTP) to use the mail system of your choice, as opposed to UserVoice's mail system.

    These currently have a random alpha-numeric pattern, e.g. omail-tTyIRW4hbiepjxTf1+edjc9s@feedback-poweredby.uservoice.com

    These should be nicer looking or allow the use of custom email addresses.

  12. Disable the escape key when adding links in email

    When replying to a user/customer and you are adding a link in, if you hit the escape key, not only will it close the "add a link" box, but the suggestion window too. So you're losing whatever you already typed.

    I don't know how many emails I had to rewrite because of this recently.

    Be able to change out key UserVoice words ("product," "suggestion," "feedback", "idea","vote", etc.) for more contextual terminology, and wording that is more relevant to a client's specific use case and product

  14. collaborative feedback

    UserVoice would be great if it had a way to edit/suggest editions by other users. I've been using UserVoice (as user) for MS products for a long while, and the thing I notice the most is: there are repeated ideas, a lot of them, always. Sometimes because it's hard to find new ideas, sometimes because they are indeed different at some point.

    For the second case, an edit / suggest edits feature could be of great value, so several users could aggregate multiple details into a single feature request. Also, the statistics of the 'most requested' features would be more…

  15. Create a "Home" site for all MS UserVoice subsites

    Right now I have "collected" links to 68 Microsoft UserVoice Subsites. I'm sure there are/have been more.

    I just discovered that one is no longer active. I'm sure there are more also.

    There should be a single UserVoice page that customers for any company, like Microsoft, can go to to find all currently active subsites.

  16. Customize the date range of supporters for email reply

    We are trying to target email replies to only include supporters who have added ideas or voted in the last 60 days. Allowing for more customization of who to email instead of just singular or all would be beneficial.

  18. Allow emailing the person who entered the suggestion

    There is no way to email a user to get more information about their idea unless they have Voted for the suggestion.
    Users often enter feedback but fail to Vote for their own suggestion (I guess they assume the fact they entered the suggestion means the support it.
    I need to be able to email the person who entered the feedback to get more clarity on what they are asking for but I cannot do that from within the admin console.

  19. Solicit feedback for a specific idea

    Allow admins to email a list of users about a specific idea. The email would include the idea details, and allow users to vote for the idea. This would allow admins to gather additional feedback from users who don't yet support their idea, and get their feedback.

  20. Update the total amount of subscribers who will recieve a notification of a status update when you change subscription status

    On a suggestion with supporting users, if you click to update the status we will show a number X, "Email X subscribers".

    If you click into a user's request (who is not subscribed) and click the checkbox to make them a subscriber/receive notifications, the number X will not change as expected.
