Threaded comments for replying to specific comments Would love to have threaded comments so users can reply specifically to a comment already posted - then that conversation becomes a branch you can expand or close depending on your interest.

Ability to send an email satisfaction survey to users I received an email today that asked "How would you describe your experience with UserVoice?" where all I had to do was click one of 4 links inside the email and my survey answer was recorded.
I asked about it and Andrew Moyer told me it's an internal system that you're not planning on releasing as a feature of UserVoice? Why not? It's a slick user feedback tool which definitely falls in your wheelhouse!

Allow users to subscribe to forum updates A customer has a group of folks that visit his site and give feedback. However, they only get feedback when they are notified there is a new idea to give feedback on (more of a collaboration tool really).
Allowing users to subscribe to specific forums where new ideas are posted would greatly help in this case.

Canned responses for suggestion status updates Have canned responses you can choose from updating the status of an idea, or automatically recommended if you use a certain status.

Email Subset of Subscribed Voters We want to be able to select a particular subset of users when using the "Emailing Subscribed Voters" functionality. Ex: If there are 100 customers who have voted for an idea, we may want to select a subset of 10 to email, but still want that communication to live in UV.

When emailing suggestion subscribers, allow subscribers to reply in UserVoice When I post a status update or a comment on a suggestion, I email subscribers about the post via UserVoice. When subscribers reply, their email reply is sent directly to me (outside of UserVoice). Ideally, their reply would post to the suggestion comment tread in UserVoice.

Show who is getting notified of public status updates When you make a public status update, a message "Email x subscribers" shows.
This number, x, is the total number of voters who are subscribed and don't have status updates turned of in their global notification preferences AND admins who do have the admin notification preference for all status updates.
We do not surface this clearly in the UI, and we should either provide explanatory text as to what this number includes, or somehow surface who is getting notified.
It could be just a list of the admins who will get notified, since they aren't included in the "Users" tab…

Quick polls with email blast invites Ability to do quick polls instead of smart polls. It would be even better if I could send blasts for either poll type out to my active users asking them to partake in the poll.

Option to specify Mail Server Settings Provide options to specify server address/protocol/credentials (POP, IMAP, SMTP) to use the mail system of your choice, as opposed to UserVoice's mail system.

Customize UV Terminology Be able to change out key UserVoice words ("product," "suggestion," "feedback", "idea","vote", etc.) for more contextual terminology, and wording that is more relevant to a client's specific use case and product

Communicate with contributors on feedback within UserVoice When a contributor or admin captures feedback, PM's want to be able to follow up with them within UserVoice to ask follow up questions and get clarification. Right now, to follow up with an internal team member on feedback, they have to go outside UserVoice.

Customize merged ideas notification When you merge an idea, you have an option to send a notification of supporters on the idea that is being merged.
It would be good to be able to customize this email and message.

Remove the "Submit" step from the thumbs up action on status updates When the status update email goes out to subscribed voters, they have the ability to give a thumbs up or a thumbs down. I suggest removing the "Submit" as the next step because I believe people are missing that as it seems extra.

Customize Email We are an organization in the Netherlands and the primary language is Dutch. I would like the ability to make edits to the Subject Line for outgoing customer emails and change the way the date is displayed. Additionally, there is a Footer with a link to UserVoice and I would like this removed as it is confusing to the customer, since the email is from SnelStart with a link to UserVoice. Our customers think it is spam when they see the UserVoice link.

View attachments inline When emailing customers an image of a prototype, we'd like to be able to display the image inline with the email instead of having it linked as an attachment.
