Email end users a summary of updates and activity
Similar to the Admin Digest Email, send end users who have participated in UserVoice forums/widgets updates on the latest news from the product team.

We have had customers ask for more control over auto emails they can receive when it comes to existing ideas. We have had requests for a summary of newly submitted ideas, ability to subscribe to updates within a given Category, or summary emails on updates from their district/company.

This would be really really helpful and I would think lots of companies would benefit from this. We are going through the process of manually communicating ideas in mass to our clients to work around this. Extra time, effort and communications outside of UV. It would be nice to have an option as an admin to email users who have voted or entered ideas BY FORUM, and pick and choose some updates to send them. Top ideas maybe. Hot ideas maybe. Certain ideas we pick and choose maybe (our favorites that we know clients would vote for if they took the time to look through them.)
I can so relate to clients... they have ideas... they have thoughts... but don't take the time to come out and start looking around themselves. I am guilty of it myself when it comes to UV. 'I'll look for that later', then don't make the time. If we could put it in front of them and it had links to the items, it would make it super easy for them to give their feedback.

As a customer of one of UserVoice's customers this would add a lot of value to this feedback mechanism. It is not my job to manually check for good ideas submitted on my suppliers UserVoice repository. But if this is supposed to be crowdsourced feedback via a voting system then people need made aware of new ideas in an easily consumable format.
My employer uses salesforce.com for our CRM and that contains an Ideas section. SFDC allows you to setup reports on a periodic basis showing all new ideas submitted.

This customer would like to request the ability of a daily or weekly digest email to their end users. They would like to have listed in the email; the top 10 hotest ideas, the latest status update, and the new ideas submitted for the week.

Allow all users who have commented or voted on ideas in a forum to be messaged at 1 time. This can help when a release goes out for letting people know what is coming even if they did not vote for those particular ideas.

Allow the ability to bulk email supporters of a forum so regardless of what idea they are supporting, they can be notified of our roadmap
