Restore Visibility and Quick Access to the “Moderation” in Grid Layout The recent changes of the header in the grid layout can be quite confusing in the beginning since the "moderation" section changed position (very left to the very right behind a drop down), naming (from "moderation" to "activity"). It's much less visible, requires at least an additional click, doesn't show omnipresent red bubble which indicates the number of ideas/comments that are flagged for moderation and doesn't feel like it fits into the information structure. Just not very comprehendible and quite annoying actually. Could you at least bring back the red indicator plus a way to access the section more quickly?…
1 voteWe've made updates to the top bar to restore the ability to toggle back and forth between ideas and activity.
Thanks for your feedback!

Option to only show Open Ideas in Smart Search for Contributor Extension When the extension completes a smart search, it will search All Ideas instead of just Open Ideas. If you create a search with search parameters, you can then narrow down by Open or All Ideas.
2 votesIn an updated published to the Chrome store today, the default behavior of smart search excludes Closed Ideas. You can still associate feedback with a Closed Idea, if desired, by using the search icon and selecting "All Ideas" as a search filter.

Default status update to email subscribers Sometime in the last week or so, you rolled out an update to the public status modal. Ever since then, the box to email subscribers about a status change has been disabled by default.
I would like that to default to being enabled, instead. I've already sent out more than a few status updates trying to communicate w/ a customer not realizing they weren't getting notified about it.
If you can't enable that by default universally, can you create a setting somewhere so I can choose how I would like this to function?
1 voteWe've restored the original behavior in this case. The system will remember the state of whether you have checked the box to email subscribers or not, and use that setting for your next update. This way, you can set your default preference, and that will persist from update to update.

Let me stay on an idea after adding it to a roadmap If I open an idea from the idea grid so that it slides out from the side, and then choose to link that idea to a feature, I can click off the idea and return to the grid to continue working. That's great.
On the other hand, if I use the option "Add Idea to Roadmap", then I can't return to the idea grid. Clicking the back arrow or just clicking off to the side on the idea grid unexpectedly navigates me to the roadmap instead. I have hundreds of ideas to add to various roadmaps and every time I…
1 voteWe have ensured that the navigation after Adding an Idea to Roadmap should be much smoother now!

Save a copy a "saved View" in Admin console IN the admin console, you can create and save and shave a view. It takes time to create a view and save it, but if you want to create a second view similar to an existing view you have to start from scratch and add fields, move them around, create filters. This is alot of work.
Especially if you want the new view to be 90% simliar to a previous view you have created.3 votesSaved Views (now called Grid Views) can be copied now. When you copy a saved view, it will be private (assuming that you want to make changes to the filters/columns/sorts) prior to re-sharing the view if it was already shared.

Merge Match within Select View Merge match should only apply to current ideas in current view
1 voteMerge Match just got a big upgrade. You can now filter the grid to show only Ideas that have a Marge Match candidate. It will honor the filter settings to show you only applicable candidates.
You'll also notice that there is no limit to the number of merge candidates you can cycle through. Back and forward arrows will allow you to skip matches without making a decision on them.
We hope this update allows you to quickly eliminate duplicates from your list of Ideas with a lot more ease!

Change merging search to OR operator While the idea grid search being an AND operator is understandable, using it in searching for merges closes the ability for broadening a search.
Reverting the merging search back to default OR operator opens the merge serge functionality back up.1 voteThe search for Merges is now AI-Driven. Not only will we search keywords, but the system can understand meaning in language and find appropriate Ideas that seem like good matches to the original.

Identify which admin user performed the activity of creating an idea with the 'idea creator' field Be able to identify which admin user submitted an idea with the use of the 'idea creator' field.
7 votesYou're now able to see both who the feedback was from and the name of the admin who captured the feedback.
Right under the description on the Idea Detail sheet, you'll see a line that says:
Created by: (Whose feedback was it) via (Who captured the feedback) | (Date Created)
Let us know if we should make this information available elsewhere!

"Skip" option in AI Merge Match When going through the AI-detected merge matches, it only gives the option to "ignore" the suggestion. "Skip" would be a great addition here, so we can circle back to the ideas if we are unsure if they should be merged or ignored

Detect Windows versions properly Whenever a user posts an idea, their browser version is detected and the OS is guessed.
We figured out UserVoice can’t tell Windows 10 from Windows 11 — which was crucial for a certain problem users encountered.
I don’t know if it’s technically possible to properly detect OS, but at least it should be named 'Windows 10/11', if UV can’t distinguish these.1 voteThanks for letting us know, Egor. We have made a change so this will now display "Windows 10/11".

Hi Everyone 👋🏻
You can now quickly create a Feature from an Idea!
From any Idea Detail sheet, click on the "Roadmaps" tab, then use the "+ Add Idea to Roadmap" button to quickly create a new Feature. We'll copy in the Idea Title and Idea Description for you, and automatically link the idea. You'll be able to make edits as you see fit as well.
Let us know if there are any additional improvements we can make!

Clear custom date fields Custom date fields can not be cleared when created.
We use a custom field for 'follow up' date on ideas, however once added, this date can not be removed.
It would keep our data cleaner to not have unneeded fields on ideas once we've followed up.

Capture Customer Email in slack integration capture customer email in slack integration rather than my own
4 votesWe have updated this experience so that when you send an idea from Slack via the integration, UserVoice will pre-fill the email capturing the person who originally came up with the idea rather than the idea / feedback submitter.

Automatic email message when Public Status is changed Would like the message and email notification to be auto-filled when changing the Public Status. Having this feature would massively assist the efficiency of our new back-end procedures and save time for our product team.
For example we have a Status of Already exists and would like to auto-send the following email "Thanks again for sending your idea to us. Having reviewed it, the idea is already available in one of our existing solutions. We've asked our support team to contact you directly to walk you through this alternative solution. You can also contact us via the online Support Portal."
3 votesYou can now set up default status messages for each unique status you've created. When you create a new status update and select a status, the message section will be pre-populated with whatever text you like. You can then tailor the content to whatever you'd like.
We hope this saves you time and encourages you to update even more Ideas within your UserVoice instance.

Would like to be able to add sum of account column value to idea details I would like to see a sum of account value in the overview screen of ideas. Just like I am able to see Revenue summed by idea, I also wanted to see this value summed (this is from the HubSpot Sync).
1 voteThe slide-out tray that we released yesterday when triggering multi-select now shows the aggregated reach metrics (de-duplicated) for all of the selected Ideas. This will allow you to see the possible impact of a group of ideas.
Coming soon: The ability to save arbitrary collections of Ideas and return to them quickly, and much more analysis on those groups of Ideas.

"Create New Idea" button on Sidebar to be larger and more visible The create new idea link at the bottom of the similar ideas search on the sidebar is too small. It would be great if this option can be larger and more visible so contributors do not miss it
1 voteThe UserVoice Feedback Extension has replaced the Sidebar, and we've improved the user interface to make creating a new idea more clear.

Bug in edit dialog If I edit an idea, then close a window with that idea the edit dialog reopens. I think this may be a bug? It's happened a few times since the last updates
1 voteHello!
This issue has been resolved.
Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.

Idea details - Ability to set a default for comment type (Public/Internal) Idea details view (NEW)
- Default the radio option of a comment based on the tab selected.
For example - if you click on Internal Comments, the radio option for the comment should default to 'Internal' whereas currently this defaults to Public regardless of the tab you select.
Confusing and risky for users when trying to post commentary that should only be for Admins7 votesHello!
Thank you for your feedback.
On the detailed idea sheet, the default option for public versus internal comments will now always respect the quick filter (Comments and Feedback or Internal Comments) that you have selected.

New admin UI not respecting code snippets/blocks The new UI that was introduced today in the Admin Console is not accepting plain text code snippets. Our clients tend to copy and paste source code into feedback. In the new UI for admins, these snippets are being treated like active code, and therefore, we can not read or interpret what is being asked.
1 vote👋 Hello!
Thank you for this feedback. The team has made an update to resolve this issue.

Idea Grid Select All Checkbox to Select Only Visible Have an optional checkbox in the Idea Grid to either select all visible ideas or select all ideas. For example, when you view 20 per page and have 100 ideas. There should be a checkbox to select all 20 visible and another to select all 100 total.
2 votesUsing the Select All checkbox on the grid now selects only the visible ideas. To add more flexibility to selecting items, you can:
(1) Adjust the number of Ideas shown per page at the bottom of the grid in the right corner
(2) Collect Ideas in the list of the slide-out panel on the right. These selections will survive changes to search and filtering criterial so that you can collect Ideas from across multiple views, and act on them all at once.
Coming Soon: The ability to save these Collections of Ideas as an additional form of "saved view," and after that, some ... really cool stuff :). Stay tuned.
