Capture Customer Email in slack integration capture customer email in slack integration rather than my own
4 votesWe have updated this experience so that when you send an idea from Slack via the integration, UserVoice will pre-fill the email capturing the person who originally came up with the idea rather than the idea / feedback submitter.

Have Jira issues created from UserVoice reflect the Jira instance's default priority When creating a Jira issue from UserVoice, the Jira priority is set at the highest. It would be great if the integration could be updated to reflect our jira's default priority or default to medium.

When you create a new Jira issue from UserVoice, that issue will now receive the default priority of your Jira project.

Slack Integration for Private Channels Provide the ability to stream UserVoice events to a private Slack channel
13 votesHi All - Our new Slack bot allows for all of the standard functions to be performed in a private channel. Instructions for upgrading to the new, more functional Slack Bot are available for you in a knowledge base article. There, you can also find out how to enable UserVoice functionality within a private channel, by inviting the bot just one time to join the channel.

Don't send notifications to all Slack channels configured when feedback is created (that is not attached to an idea) Right now, when the Slack integration is configured, any feedback that is created and not attached to an idea will notify all Channels connected to UserVoice.
1 voteWe’ve improved our Slack integration so that un-linked feedback is now only sent to channels that receive events from all forums and categories.

We now have a traits sync service offering for Pipedrive! The service can sync your Contact & Account traits to UserVoice so that you can harness powerful segmentation.

Provide web portal URLs for UserVoice items in Slack UserVoice items (ideas, feedback, comments) sent to Slack via the integration link back to the admin console.
Some use cases have non-admins clicking these links in Slack, but they are unable to access the admin console links.

Thanks for this early feedback.
Now, users without access to the UserVoice admin console will be directed to the web portal view of an idea when attempting to access that idea from a Slack channel.
UserVoice admins will still be directed to that idea in the admin console as they are today.

Configure Slack integration for categories You can configure the Slack integration to work with specific forums, but not categories within a forum.

If you head back to the slack configuration settings in your UserVoice admin console you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see that we’ve enabled the ability to configure events from specific categories to stream into your slack channels.

Ability to search for ideas through Slack integration Ability to search for an idea through Slack integration. We currently have this functionality through another tool we used called Guru. Basically, I can type /guru TOPIC in slack and it would pull up all these articles that we have compiled re: TOPIC and post the info and link into Slack. Looking for similar functionality with UserVoice.

Fully display suggestion text when pushing it to Slack Currently, when a suggestion is pushed to slack it is not easy to read. We need to expand the window in order to see the text. It would be nice if we could fully display the suggestion text without having to expand the text.

Carry over linked VSTS items when suggestions are merged If you have a VSTS item linked to Suggestion A, then you merge Suggestion A into Suggestion B, we should then link the VSTS item to Suggestion B. In other words, the "winning" suggestion should inherit the linked VSTS items.

Direct SFDC integration to pass traits Would like to be able to pass account and user info to UserVoice to match up with suggestions, but not have to use the API.

Update the hosted JIRA Integration to support secure firewall settings. Currently the documentation on integrating with JIRA requires companies to expose their JIRA to the entire internet. Need to be able to lock it down by hostname or IP address so that the hole in the firewall is not open to the entire internet. Asking UserVoice Customers to open the firewall to the entire internet puts their organization at risk for compromise.

Customer feedback in Slack can be easily sent to UserVoice We have a public channel in slack for our customer community. We can use the sidebar to capture feedback on top of the Slack web client, but we would also like to be able to use it in the desktop client.

Be able to use Service Hooks with a specific Forum or category For example, right now with the Slack integration, you have to push all ideas across all Forums. It would be great if you could choose a specific forum or category when using Service Hooks to push data.

We haven’t implemented a feature to use service hooks with a specific category within a forum, which some of you have asked for in this suggestion.
