    A core value of UserVoice is communication, allowing Product Managers not only to hear from users, but communicate back to them around their feedback.

    We also help Product Managers when evaluating ideas, not only see how many people want it, but who those people are, enabling them to make data driven decisions.

    Anonymous suggestions don’t allow either of those, and aren’t part of our vision for the product at this time.

    While we are saying “no” to this particular idea, please keep sharing. We do appreciate you sharing your thoughts and product needs with us!

    I just found this from Okay Product Managers, that's fine and they can continue seeing the info, but what about the public? I got here from a OneDrive feedback page. People are conscious about these things, which is probably going to lessen your sample size, making the whole method unreliable.

    For example, your name is Claire Christine Talbott, a quick Google search suggests you're 38, born Dec 1982, in Cary, Wake County, North Carolina, previously Fuqua, North Carolina, and Louisburg, North Carolina. You are now a product manager with BitSight in Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly support manager at UserVoice. Your email was either CTalbott@uservoice.com, Claire.Talbott@uservoice.com, Claire@uservoice.com, or Claire_Talbott@uservoice.com. You also have an @bitsight.com and an @talbottcopywriting.com e-mail--associated with a Sunset Avenue address since 2009. You may be related to a Daniel, Katie, Nathaniel, Ruth, etc. Your phone number is 919-419-1... and 919-341-8... Maybe these weren't accurate, but you see--very creepy right? And you put all of this information out in public, probably because of your occupation. Google yourself! I, myself, have a very Googlable name.

    Now imagine users wanting to comment on a company, but then find out about the lack of anonymity. I'm guessing most of them would not want to give feedback to that company or post suggestions.
