    Last week we released an update to our admin console Idea Grid. One of the new features you have available to you is the ability to increase the number of ideas you can view per page (20, 50, 75, or 100) to better align with your needs. Check it out!

  2. Auto-refresh admin console page when moderating

    When performing an action to a suggestion that is flagged for moderation, the number of items that need moderation does not automatically update. You should not have to hard refresh the page for the number to change as you work through items.

    We’ve updated our supporter’s import. If you import new supporters, you can set their subscription status to “no.”

  5. Show update date in columns in Admin Console

    Be able to sort in the grid by last Updated date. The column picker shows "created/updated" but then only gives the option to show created date.

  6. Return to current suggestion page context after editing suggestion

    scenario:
    admin/feedback/suggestions context.
    several pages of suggestions displaying 20 at a time
    Edit a suggestion on the second or later page (e.g., to set a different category).
    After edit, and clicking on the main suggestion page, the page refreshes and returns me to page 1 (suggestions 1-20).

    Please to not return to page 1. stay on current suggestion page context.

    First, thank you sharing this bug. When you make changes to an idea, it should not refresh and return you to the first page. You should not lose your place when editing or making changes to an idea.

    Hi everyone!

    We’ve added several features to help you triage new activity on your forums.

    First, navigate to your forum in the admin console and click “all open suggestions” → then click on the Activity and Moderation" tab.

    You can then set a date filter to view all new comments, ideas and feedback during that time frame. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/74001861a910

    If you are on the suggestions grid, you can also sort by “updated,” which includes any new comments, support or requests on the idea in addition internal changes to an idea. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/70a737807e01

  8. Ability to set a default status for new suggestions

    Be able to set a "starting" status for new suggestions so that when a suggestion is created it has a status already applied.

    Great news!  You can now set a default status (both public and internal) for newly created ideas.


    Visit the settings for custom public and internal statuses (available on the UserVoice Discovery Pro and Premium Plans) to select which of your statuses you'd like to be applied to new ideas.


    We've updated our knowledge base article about custom statuses with directions, but if you run into any trouble please contact us at support@uservoice.com

  9. Setting "None" status after responding with another status.

    Please restore the ability to select "None" for the status label after a status has been assigned. We respond to ideas using the "none" status to confirm that we've seen them, and to let users know that their idea is a good one, however - If I need to ask a question, I update with a different status for tracking purposes. And currently, if they respond to the question I ask, I'm unable to put the status back to "None" - I have to switch to the old uservoice interface in order to accomplish this, it's quite irritating.

  10. Ability to sort by votes when looking at a user's suggestions though the Users & Accounts list

    When I view a users supported suggestions through the User & Account lists I would like there to be a column so i can sort their ideas by number of votes

    Admins can sort a user’s supported ideas using the Voters column. Navigate to the Users & Accounts page > select a user > click the Ideas tab > click on the Voters column to sort their supported ideas by vote count.

  11. Be able to share views from within UserVoice

    Admins can create their own custom views for suggestions. While you can share the URL with another admin, to share the ideas you are looking at, this is cumbersome and has to be done outside of UserVoice.

    Admins would like to be able to share a view from within UserVoice, so other admins can see and access the view from their own Saved View section as well.

    You can now share a Saved View with your colleagues! Check out this GIF to see it in action. On a Saved View you'll notice a new "Share" button that allows you to share that exact view with another admin.

  12. Customized order of columns in Suggestion view

    Change column order for feedback views. Currently, I need always to scroll to the right to get to the created column. The others inbetween are interesting but I need that one to be one of the first I see.

  13. Remember email selection when doing a merge/updating status/etc

    Remember the previously selected email address for the reply to on status updates and merge notifications. This way I don't have to manually choose or enter an email address every time.

    Greetings from UserVoice,

    We’ve released a feature that should improve your experience when setting reply-to email addresses on plublic status updates and suggestion merges.

    Now, when you select a reply-to email address for public status updates and suggestion merges, we will remember that address the next time you perform one of those actions. This eliminates you having to set that address every time.

  14. Filter should have 'and' logic as default

    To reduce the number ideas filtered by search, the keywords should be applied with 'and' logic by default.

    At the moment, the number of findings increases if you add more key words.

    But to make UserVoice a success, it's important to reduce the number of findings to come out with max 10-20 search results to allow the user to find already existing ones for voting instead of entering a new one.
    If the search result exceeds 20+, it would be to time consuming for checking all the results and as result, UserVoice would end-up with redundant requests (idea) as in…

    While we don't support 'and' logic to filter keyword search results by default, we do provide search operators that can be used to further refine the results of your keyword searches. Take a look at this resource to learn more.  

  15. Quickly remove labels from list view

    From a list view, have the ability to remove labels quickly. Right now you need to open the labels and scroll to find the label to deselect it. Can we add a "X" to the label button in the list view to remove quickly (or something similar)?

    Hello!


    On the idea grid, labels can now be removed from an idea without opening the label picker. Hovering over a label will reveal an (x) that can be used to clear that label from the idea.

    Bulk label modification is now available! From the Suggestions grid you will be able to select multiple items and then use the new “Modify Labels” option under the More Actions menu. You will see the current status of the labels on your selection, and will be able to add or remove labels across the entire selection. There will be an undo option after completing this action. Please try this out and give us your feedback. Happy labeling!

    We’ve recently made it possible for admins to send status updates (public and internal) on multiple suggestions at a time.

    On the suggestion grid, in the admin console, see “More Actions” when selecting more than one suggestion.

  18. Don't include completed ideas in searches

    I went to link a ticket to an idea, and it showed me oodles of completed ideas. That would be good as an option, but not in the default view. It should really separate out completed ideas.

    Thanks for this feedback. Idea grid search will respect all filter configurations. That is, excluding a public status of "completed" via the Public Status filter will exclude ideas in that status from any and all keyword search results. 

  19. Allow contributors to capture feedback on the forum (web portal)

    When a support person is viewing a suggestion on the forum website, allow them to quickly add customers to an idea. The suggestion that they are viewing should be automatically selected in the sidebar 'capture request' form.

  20. Filter feedback by user segments

    Allow filtering suggestions and related suggestion metrics (like # of supporters and comments) by supporter traits, to help find out which feedback has come from specific user segments and measure interest from those segments.

    You can now analyze feedback by customer segment and identify each segment’s top needs, all within the UserVoice admin console.

    Create custom segments based on the user and account traits that you pass into UserVoice; for example, user type, MRR, company size, or industry. You can also create segments by country, even if you are not passing traits into UserVoice.
