Allow admins to set the creator on ideas that are captured on a users behalf.
Allow UserVoice Admins to Submit Ideas on Behalf of a Customer
It would be very helpful if UserVoice allowed a UV administrator to be able to create a UV suggestion/idea on behalf of a user, as if they submitted it.
From time to time, it may make more sense for us to go ahead and create a suggestion for the customer versus asking them to do it.
Currently, UV supports the ability to submit feedback on behalf of a customer, but not the idea itself.

We have launched a new feature where you can select who is the creator / requestor of an idea when it is submitted by an admin or contributor. In doing so, you can see which end-user originally requested the idea and know who to follow up with as needed.

Could not agree more! I would like that so much. I don't want my employees' names to show as the one posted at all.

This is a common design problem with idea software and should be fixed. This is especially problematic with idea software that offers an import function as then you have to manually change (if that is even possible) 100's or even 1000's if idea authors.

Suggestions created by contributors should display Requester's name instead of the contributor that submitted their feedback and created the new suggestion

I agree - I was surprised when I found out that that wasn't the case. In fact, when editing any idea or suggestion, the original requester/submitter should be an editable field in case someone leaves an organization, we can change their ideas to someone else from that same organization

As o today, the name of the contributor appears under the suggestion, not the one from the person he reported on behalf of.

When using the contributor sidebar, would like to be able to post to the forum with the customer/user name as the submitter, instead of the internal employee/contributor.

If you are adding a suggestion from the admin console, or linking a ticket to an idea, it would be nice if you had the option to set the idea creator as well.
Right now, it will use the admin, which makes it look like it was the admin's idea, and doesn't give the user credit for their idea.
