Add an Idea ID or identifier to the idea properties With no identifier on the suggestions or ID listed in the properties, there is no quick way to track ideas or send one to a coworker for easy search other than the URL.

The ID of an Idea is now shown at the top of the Idea Detail sheet in addition being copyable from the Idea Title on the grid.
You're also able to copy the ID from the top of the Idea Detail sheet.

We’ve recently made it possible for admins to send status updates (public and internal) on multiple suggestions at a time.
On the suggestion grid, in the admin console, see “More Actions” when selecting more than one suggestion.

Reactions to Public Status Updates SUMMARY
An Admin will be able to enable Reactions to Public Status updates at the time of sending. Recipients of the Status Update email will be able to click a reaction button (thumbs-up or thumbs-down) in the email to give an instant reaction, and then will be able to add optional feedback via a web form. The Reactions will be visible to the Admin in the Status Update details.8 votesThis feature has been developed and we are preparing to launch it. Partial single word search results should show results When searching for part of a single word, return search results that would auto-complete that word.
Example: Searching "auto" should find ideas with "autocomplete" in the title.

Search has been updated for better partial word matches. Search results will first do partial word matches on idea title then idea descriptions.

Don't make the "Subscribe yourself to status updates?" setting checked by default when editing suggestion Many times a day I edit suggestions just to correct some typos or sometimes edit the title to make it easier to find and each time the "Subscribe yourself to status updates?" is checked. I wish this would stop. I'm managing the suggestion, I don't need to receive an e-mail when I will change the status..

This was a bug, and it has now been fixed. The option to subscribe to status updates should only show when creating an idea from the admin console (not when editing an idea), and it should not be checked by default.
As part of this fix:
-You will no longer see the box when editing an idea.

Allow Admins to Edit End User Comments Admins need this ability so that they can remove any PI a user adds to their comment.
Also, So if a customer makes a valid point in a comment but also writes something about a
competitor, admins want to publish their comment, but remove the competitor
info. Or if they swear in their comment, they want to edit that out. Admins currently have to reject numerous comments because I cannot edit, even if they make valid points!1 voteHi everyone!
It is now possible for admins to edit end-user comments, by clicking the “pencil” icon.

Be able to mention/tag other admins It would be nice to be able to tag/@mention your fellow team members when discussing both specific Features and Suggestions. These comments should be 'internal' comments/discussions/mentions and should not be a 'published' comment.

Yesterday we introduced “Internal Comments” on ideas to replace Notes. Don’t worry, we’ve kept all your previously created notes. They are now called internal comments.
This is exciting because with internal comments you now have the ability to mention other admins directly on ideas.
Here’s what you can expect.
@mention other UserVoice admins on internal comments.
Reply to internal comments in threads.
Email and in-app notifications when you’ve been mentioned on a UserVoice idea.
Email and in-app notifications when there is new activity on an internal comment thread that you’ve participated in.
Note: We don’t yet support mentioning contributors or enabling contributors to mention admins.

We’ve added this functionality to an idea. It will work just like our global activity feed export.
In the admin console, navigate to a specific idea, and you will now see an “Export” button next to the activity filter.
Filter your activity (if you only want comments) and then export. If you have any questions, let us know!

Sort forums consistently in admin console, web portal, and settings In the suggestion setting of the admin console, forums are ordered by the number of suggestions in each forum with public forums grouped at the top of the list. On the web portal and in the admin console settings, forums are shown in alphabetical order. It would be helpful to have this order be consistent in all 3 places, or let admins choose their own order.

You can now manually order Forums and Categories. To update these settings click on the Cog Icon > General Settings > Ideas > Forums and drag forums into a desired order.
Categories can be ordered by clicking on the category count and dragging and dropping the categories into the desired order.
This will affect all locations where forums and categories are displayed as options, including the Portal, Chrome Extension, and in the admin interface.
We've also overhauled the entire Forum/Category setup experience for easier management.

Add Product Areas for Ideas It would be useful to organize Ideas (Suggestions) by Product Area.

Show Changes after Edits When I'm going through and editing suggestions (e.g. changing the name, adding a description), the changes don't automatically show when I close the suggestion. I have to refresh the page in order for me to see the changes. However, when I refresh the page, it takes me back to the first item on the first page. We have 653 suggestions and if I'm viewing numbers 141-160, I don't want to have to scroll back through to find where I left off. So either 1) Automatically show changes after I close the suggestion or 2) Don't change my position when I…
3 votesHey everyone! We did have a bug where if you edited an idea title or description, you would have to refresh to see those changes.
This bug was fixed. If this is still giving you issues, please, let me know at claire.talbott@uservoice.com. You should not have to refresh the page to see your edits to the idea title and description!

Show whole SEGMENT column heading in Suggestions Allow users of the Suggestions section of the Console to see the whole column heading od SEGMENT columns (e.g. always show the full heading, allow column width to be adjusted, at least have a hover text tooltip to display the whole column heading.
Currently, a segment heading allows only the first 2 characters of the heading to display (after the word SEGMENT) - see attched screenshot1 voteWith our recent updates to the idea grid, column headers are now fully visible and column widths are adjustable!

Increase the number of suggestions and users per page Currently 20 results (suggestions or users) show per page.

Last week we released an update to our admin console Idea Grid. One of the new features you have available to you is the ability to increase the number of ideas you can view per page (20, 50, 75, or 100) to better align with your needs. Check it out!

Auto-refresh admin console page when moderating When performing an action to a suggestion that is flagged for moderation, the number of items that need moderation does not automatically update. You should not have to hard refresh the page for the number to change as you work through items.
1 voteWe’ve rolled out an update for this. As you moderate ideas and comments, the badge icon will automatically update to reflect the change. You no longer need to refresh the page!

Show update date in columns in Admin Console Be able to sort in the grid by last Updated date. The column picker shows "created/updated" but then only gives the option to show created date.

Return to current suggestion page context after editing suggestion scenario:

Edit a suggestion on the second or later page (e.g., to set a different category).
After edit, and clicking on the main suggestion page, the page refreshes and returns me to page 1 (suggestions 1-20).Please to not return to page 1. stay on current suggestion page context.

First, thank you sharing this bug. When you make changes to an idea, it should not refresh and return you to the first page. You should not lose your place when editing or making changes to an idea.

View new items since a certain date Make it easier to triage new items added since a certain date

We’ve added several features to help you triage new activity on your forums.
First, navigate to your forum in the admin console and click “all open suggestions” → then click on the Activity and Moderation" tab.

Ability to set a default status for new suggestions Be able to set a "starting" status for new suggestions so that when a suggestion is created it has a status already applied.
16 votesGreat news! You can now set a default status (both public and internal) for newly created ideas.
Visit the settings for custom public and internal statuses (available on the UserVoice Discovery Pro and Premium Plans) to select which of your statuses you'd like to be applied to new ideas.
