Once a new advanced filter is applied, if I try to merge, there is no way to remove the advanced filter to find ideas. This is quite problematic for the use of advanced filters for us.

Commonly, I apply an advanced filter for a specific account to see all of their new ideas. I want to be able to merge ideas from this, but when I try to do so, no ideas are found. It also took me a while to realize that this is due to the advanced filter -- there is nothing on the merge screen that would indicate there are advanced filters applied.
