Allow users to subscribe to suggestions I would like to be able to "star" certain suggestions that I want to remember (if I have no more votes but want to keep tabs on interesting suggestions).

Allow users to add attachments to comments One user creates an idea and adds an attachment, with a relevant image or document. Admin would like other users to be able to add their own images/files in response to the original idea. Right now there's no way to do that with comments.

Integration with Salesforce for Feedback We are a SaaS company and want to learn quickly by giving customers the possibility to come up with ideas and feedback. Our account managers however need to know what's happening:
How much feedback does a customer give? (amount)
What's the feedback about? (content)
What's the status of ideas submitted by a customer? (planned, etc.)Can you guys make the magic happen?

Support custom user and account traits with the Identify feature You can pass the standard user and account traits, but sometimes you need to pass custom traits.
For example, your users have two different ID's, and you want both passed as traits.

It would be great if I could create ideas on behalf of users I often get emails from users with suggestions and ideas. It would be great if I could add them to the feedback forum on their behalf (just like I can with tickets)

Display an account’s feedback in contributor sidebar When using the contributor sidebar, be able to pull up an account's supported suggestions, not just a user's.

Email request submitter when an idea's status changes A customer-facing employee has used the sidebar to capture a request for a customer. That employee would like to know when that idea's status changes. Then the employee can reach out to the customer to give them an update. Also, it let's the employee know that the feedback they submit is being heard and responded to. Perhaps send a daily summary email that would sum up status changes to all the ideas that the employee has recorded requests for - including the before and after status, forum, category, suggestion name and a link, the list of customers that they personally…

How does it work?
1) You enter a customer’s feedback and connect it to an idea in UserVoice. (You might do this through the Contributor Sidebar or Zendesk app, or in the admin console with ‘capture feedback’, ‘add supporter’, or ‘link this ticket to an idea’)
2) A UserVoice admin posts a status update for the idea.

Contributor Console: User Name Search In the new Contributor Console, I'd like to have the system search and return a list of users when typing in whose idea is this just like other tools SO THAT I don't have to find their exact email address.

Contributors can use a web site to add feedback from customers When a contributor is logged into the forum web site, they can add a customer to an existing idea or create a new idea on behalf of the customer.

Discarding edits in admin console without asking for confirmation When I edit a suggestion in the admin console, and click somewhere else, the edit pane collapses without asking whether I want to save my changes. I lost all my changes.

This should be fixed. Clicking outside the edit window, should not close it out. You either have to click the X button, Cancel or Save to close the dialogue. If this gives you anymore issues, please contact support@uservoice.com.

Return helpful error when idea created via sidebar has too long of a title There is a character restriction on idea titles. When you create an idea with too long of a title in the sidebar, we return an error, but it isn't clear why: https://cl.ly/43280f0B231b
This error should say something about the character limit.

Public idea link when capturing feedback via the contributor sidebar When capturing feedback via the contributor sidebar, we link feedback to an existing suggestion, or create a new suggestion.
I would like to have a shortcut to copy the public permalink to the linked suggestion so that I can easily share this with the customer, rather than clicking through the admin console to get the web portal link.

While this feature is not yet a part of Contributor Sidebar experience, we did keep this need in mind for the Contributor Console.
That is, from the Contributor Console, a public link to each idea can be easily copied and shared.

Create a full-page view for the Contributor Sidebar Is there a way to use uservoice without using the sidebar browser plug in? I find it hard to search and track submissions and I prefer a web page layout.

Automtically remind inactive contributors to capture feedback Take the burden of admins/leads and provide means to re-engage contributors who are inactive or have never used their contributor licenses.
3 votesEarlier this month we launched a monthly Contributor Insights email. Similar to the Admin Insights email, the Contributor Insights email notifies contributors of recent status updates and their activity. If they haven’t been active, the email will prompt them to add feedback.

Remove voting limitations The limited voting numbers turned me off to participating in idea submission and feedback. If an idea works for me, I'll vote it up. If not, I won't. Why place a limitation?

Update Description verbiage in contributor console to indicate that the idea description will be public In the Contributor tools, the Description header says "Description (optional)". We would love to have this indicate that this field is public similar to the feedback section indication that that section is private.
