Pin ideas on the forums (web portal)
Admins want to be able to pin or start specific ideas on the forum, so when users visit the web portal, they will see those ideas at the top of the forum. This lets them highlight ideas they want to collect feedback on or call out recently completed ideas they want users to see.

Planning to add this feature any time soon? It would make a great solution for ideas which have partial/workflow-type solutions but we don't want to mark as Solved!

We agree and support this idea. It is easy for an idea to get lost depending on the volume present in a given forum. The ability to Pin a certain idea where we are actively looking for participation would be most helpful.

Be able to pin specific comments on ideas for other end users to see, to highlight a preferred answer or comment. This is especially helpful if an admin leaves a comment and you want it to show at the top for users viewing the idea.

I also want to be able to pin an announcement at the top of the forum. Is there a reason this isn't possible?

since there is no grantee that users really SEE that particular idea, adding featured or spotlight ideas help to prioritize them for product owner.

I would like to be able to post an admin announcement, pinned to the top of the forum, which users can neither edit nor add to.
