Display when a suggestion received votes over time
Being able to view the last time an idea received a vote would be a handy feature to have - being able to see if there are older ideas with few votes and no recent activity would help determine whether or not to decline that idea.

I find it valuable as well. I want to see the list of votes (who did it and when) in each suggestion, so I could correlate time of votes with other marketing activities.
It is okay if I could have it as API method only: list of all suggestions + nested list of votes per each suggestion

Although allowing users to spend 3 votes on an idea is an excellent idea, it can give you a false reading about how many users actually like an idea.
Therefore, in the admin view, there should be a vote slash user count e.g. 3 / 1 or 3 / 3
Looking at comments made here, this could also be catered for by just providing a list of all votes by user.
I know votes are anonymous at the moment, I'm not sure if this is intended, but a list including the user / email would be useful.

This is valuable for us, as each time we release a new version of our product, the first 2 weeks have a flurry of activity that let us find our top trending feedback. Isolating a window of time like this would be very helpful. The daily voting would be a great start - even better would be - # votes/idea from May 29 - June 15, for example.
This would also let us do things like snap lines with each item - another very nice analytic.

I would like to be able to see the history of an idea over time, letting me follow how hot an idea is. In other words, discover when an idea was getting the most votes. This would allow us to make our own conclusions about what ideas were hot and cold, especially with respect to when we release a new version of our software.

It would be useful to show a graph of votes a suggestion has had over time. If numerous issues are pulling for first place, it might be useful to see when they were voted for. The best would be a line graph of the last couple months or so that shows Total votes vs Time. At minimum a small indicator showing how many new votes this item has received in the last couple of weeks. Or some "newness" metric based off the percentage of new votes / total votes.
