I've found that while I can 'attach' files to the status update, upon submit they are not displayed internally or externally.

This can be really important in explaining how new functionality works prior to the update of formal documentation.

Hi there, this is indeed a crucial feature which every single new forum administrator asks for.
I do not see any status attached to this idea neither response from the UV team ; even though it has reached a fair amount of votes already.
The workaround to add another attachment by editing the suggestion works indeed but is not practical as it requires 2 steps instead of 1.

Many a times it is better to explain through a screen shot than a long text essay. Please consider.

Allow the admin to attach screenshots or files.

This would be very useful when marking an idea as Closed - Completed. I'd like to send a screenshot or mini video of the new functionality for the voters to see/discuss/provide feedback.

From what I can see, the Admins can post screen shots on other people's ideas.

Additionally, when an Admin marks an item as Completed -- or maybe the idea is already in the product -- it's very handy to include a screenshot to point the suggester in the correct direction.

It's so rare that we get to complete great ideas that we need the ability to toot our own horn a bit!
