Pre-moderation for Ideas, Post-moderation for comments
It would be great to be able to use pre-moderation for new ideas and post-moderation for comments. This would allow us to maintain a high forum quality without limiting the natural forum dynamics. In pre-moderation, allow editing comments before accepting them (just like with the new ideas)

This would be a great idea. We have multiple departments and directors who would like to post comments immediately. Although the intention is good, the comments may need a little bit of editing for grammar, vision, spoke too soon... yada yada.

I don't understand why pre-moderation is only available on the most expensive plan. I am working with a small software company who only needs one administrator (6 employees) but will only allow feedback/ideas to be posted once approved by the administrator. They want to use it to determine those ideas with the most interest so their small team can determine what features are most requested. They will not go with any system that does not have that feature and they cannot justify the cost of the PRO plan for their small organization. Thoughts?

I totally agree, post-moderation for comments would really be an essential improvement to the quality of discussions - without as pointedd out disturbing dynamics. This should be on top of the list of improvement for Uservoice!! Every day I see comments that need post-moderation because they are not clearly formulated, people made silly or annoying spelling mistakes (which makes it ****** to read/ understand) etc.. So. it's not because of wanting to change content - that's what Uservoice told me as the reason they are hesiant to implement this feature.

this is a big one for me, for various reasons I need to moderate ideas, however i'd love for comments to flow naturally on ideas that i have already approved. Having to go in and approve each comment when I have moderation on really destroys the organic nature of the tool.
