Ideas Widget for Private Forums
I have a private forum for a feature that is in beta. I would like to have a widget in this new feature that works with the private forum that I have configured for its beta feedback. I am currently working around this by having the widget create a ticket in a queue instead of a suggestion in a forum. I then evaluate the ticket and create a suggestion for it in the forum. Having the widget save suggestions directly to the forum would cut down on my workload and would also provide appropriate instant answers within the widget.

We now have Single Sign-On support for the UserVoice Ideas Widget.
Get started today by Logging in to UserVoice > Settings > Widgets > Advanced setup > SSO authentication.

This is such a pain especially as the older (classic) widget apparently could do this. We have a real need for a private forum and its such a shame that we lose out on the smartvote suggestions by not being able to have both.

This is absolutely needed. We rolled out the Ideas widget only to learn we had to roll it back and use the classic version for our private forum.

Private forums seem like an excellent and justifiable suggestion to me, too, Claire. Privacy is undoubtably a very impactful feature. I just hope that private forums, if they are added, are a feature for both free and paid users!

Allow private site suggestions to be displayed in widget so people can add ideas and support ideas, but not go to the web portal to browse.

We need to have some of our forums set as "private". However, we also expect to have the capability of SmartVote. We ARE paying for it. Your features should not be hindered by the security requirements of a forum.

All of our forums are "Private" which means we can't use SmartVote. It'd be great to add support for Private forums (and SSO, as we use that, too.)

Right now SmartVote only works with public forums, but it would be great if you also added support for private forums. We may want to keep forums private, but still use the awesome SmartVote feature with our users.
