Allow admins to edit user information
Coming from a Community Management background, I am accustomed to having a variety of administrator tools on forums that aren't offered in UserVoice. Among these tools are more robust search features, and a consolidated user information page with the ability to edit user information.
At the present, I cannot search by individual forum and must scroll through multiple pages across four different lists (Voters, Given Access, Invited and Removed) to find users. The results of using the "Search ideas and feedback" feature under Feedback are missing this basic information.
Once a user has been found, I have no way to edit basic account information, such as change a user's display name, update an email address or send (not view) a new password.
Finally, I can only block users, not delete users or merge user accounts.
While your CS team is very responsive and have been tremendously helpful, it shouldn't require the submission of a ticket from the user or administrator to resolve many issues that should be native features of an administrator's toolset.
If it's UserVoice's intention to restrict these abilities for Administrator accounts acting as agents, then consider making these features available to Owner accounts.

Editing the name and username are pretty critical. This should definately be an option for accounts that do not have integration enabled (Salesforce, for example.)

For me that especially applies for all the fields that our sales team does not explicitly care about in the CRM. Right now I would need to handle those fields in the CRM, export them and import them again in UserVoice...

As a UserVoice client Admin, I would like the ability to update and change Users and Accounts information without needing to do an import so that I have more flexibility in making adjustments.

Our user voice user accounts come from snap engage and so there is no way to update user names. Given that the social media lookup often gets the name wrong this is becoming increasingly important for us to do.

Give the ability to add a team name, and other identifying information for the owner to see who the admin is.

You can delete or block a user, but sometimes admins need to do something as simple as edit a user's username in UserVoice. The user can do this, but that requires extra steps for them, and it would helpful for admins and users if admins could simply do it for them.

Ability for Administrators to update user profiles (eg; from Anonymous or a nick name to a proper name, alter email address).

Owners (i.e. superusers) should be able to administer all the admins/agents registered in the system beyond inviting them, promoting them to owner, or deleting them.
Doesn't have to be extensive, but at least being able to update username, company, or other basic user admin tasks.

We have recently split our company and our half has new email addresses. There are user accounts on our forum (public) that belong to users who have left both companies but their email address is set to the other company who are our competitors.
I want to be able to edit the user account to change the email address so that any notifications aren't sent to our competitor.
I can't block this user as they have contributed many useful comments to ideas over the years, and I don't wish to lose them.

I understand that as of Aug. 2012, a user's profile is now no longer global, but directly associated with a specific account within UV. If that's the case, a UV account admin should be able to edit a user's profile without impacting that user's profile for other UV accounts. Specifically, being able to edit their name & email would be a great place to start this new functionality.
