The translated UV widget should map to the feedback forum that is translated to the same language
We recently implemented the translated UV widget (https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/200955-change-the-language-of-the-widget-ui-based-on-the), but it seems to have a key limitation of only mapping to the first feedback forum created, which is our American English feedback forum. This is a blocking issue as it means that when using the UV widget, users can see the widget translated into another language, but their idea searches come back with American English results and their idea postings post to our American English forums which our language specialists do not monitor. We met with a UV rep twice before implementing the translated widget to confirm our implementation strategy was sound, but it looks like we overlooked a critical product gap in the workflow. Also, we reviewed all of the documentation and do not see this limitation called out:
