Custom Fields: Support more Date Options The Date custom field selection needs to support more options. Right more it requires a very specific date AND time. We would like an option to convey a more generalized date. Quarter/Year is preferrable. This would allow us to communicate and report on general timeframes.
Right now we have created a select list (Q2 2023, Q3 2023, etc) but we will soon run out of available options (limited to 75) -- not to mention the manual effort to regularly add new options to the select list.

Include account name and link to account when feedback added to an idea When a piece of feedback is added to an idea it is listed as Feedback via user name which is a clickable link to the user - it would be really useful if in addition the account was listed and was a clickable link to the account directly. This would be much more useful for B2B companies.

Additional text formatting options Especially when we provide internal status updates, it would be very helpful to have additional text formatting options, such as:
-Color
-Highlighting
-Tiered, Bulleted listsAn example of a recent post that could have been greatly helped by additional formatting is attached.

Extend edit functions for moderation/approval flagged ideas Problem:
When I approve ideas, I can only edit Title, description, category and Attachments. This makes the workflow complicated and long since I have to jump back to the grid and search again for the approved idea if I have to edit the idea further.Solution:
I want to be able to edit ideas in the moderation with all functions that I have when I edit an idea via the grid.
This includes:
- Custom fields
- Internal comments
- Status (internal, external)
- Create Share link
- Add labels
- Link Jira

Engagement Information It would be great if we could get some information about how users are reaching an idea. For example, are they finding the idea within the forums (in-site) or through links? Not sure if this is possible but it would be insightful to see.

See recently viewed ideas Ability to see recently viewed ideas. Example is that I am working on an idea and have to navigate away for an urgent task before saving my work. Would be great to pull it back up from a recently view section instead of trying to remember the title and wade through search results.

Do not include segments when selecting restore defaults for idea grid When selecting "Restore Default", this returns to a default state on the idea grid that includes ALL segments. Ideally, segments are a pick-and-choose type of use case, so enabling them as a default would not be beneficial.

Filters are difficult to navigate The old UI made it easier to filter through ideas. Additionally it is difficult to navigate through the idea grid to distinguish statuses, votes, and created.

Thanks for your feedback and support of this idea. We have been able to gather perspective on a number of areas in which our filtering experience on the idea grid can be improved. There is not a single solution that addresses all the feedback we've received. With that in mind, I thought it might be helpful to provide a bit more insight into the specific problems, as informed by the themes of this feedback, that we've focused on solving as we being work on this.
- It is hard to visualize what filters are applied when working with a filtered view of the idea grid.
- It is hard to make changes to applied filters directly from the idea grid.
- It is not obvious that filters can be applied and updated on columns in addition to the main idea grid filter (fly-out from the right hand side of the grid).

Multi-Select Filters in Advanced Filters improvement request Multi Select filters like Forum/Category and Labels can have lots of options. In the advanced filters, these filter types are not as easy to work with as they are in basic idea filters.

System Fields available in Segments Ability to use system fields (ie: profile name, profile email etx) to build a segment

Automatically Merge All Matches There should be a settings option for Merge Matches to merge automatically. When we release the beta to different groups of testers, there's always a lot of duplicate ideas being submitted. Having the option for those ideas to be merged manually or automatically would be helpful.

Add SAVE button Add a SAVE button that will save all changes you made to an idea. Now, I change public status, then I need to click Set public status. Then I change Internal status and I need to click Set internal status. Then I add a comment and need to click Add comment. Why? Let me do my changes and then click SAVE.

Improve search function Better search function. If I search for Tree and Grass, I want to see posts with words Tree AND Grass. Not Tree OR Grass.
Entering more search word must result in fewer hits, not more hits.

Public status automation based on internal status setting I would like to be able to set the automation of public status update to a new status once an idea reaches a specific internal status.

Ungroup or split columns in the idea grid The ability to decouple or split columns in the idea grid to make sub columns more visible.

Remember what page I was on even after I refresh the page For example, If the user is look ideas 161 through 180 on the idea grid. After refresh, they should remain on that page as opposed to being kicked back to page 1 (ideas 1 - 20).

Column reorder not maintained Adding and removing columns from the column picker shouldn't require the user to reorder the columns that are visible again.

Include Comments to be counted as responses for Public statuses Once a Public Status has been set, we would like for comments to be counted as responses and thus be included in the number of responses within the new Public Status information box.
