  2. Would it be possible to include date tag to admin replies on main page? We want people to see when the admin update/comment was posted.

    Today they can see it only if they click on particular idea, but cannot see it right away on main page.

  4. Create team dialog show existing team names

    In Admin Settings, the Create team dialog should show the currently assigned team, if it is assigned already. I'm trying to bulk assign contributor team members that haven't been assigned yet and it's very difficult and tedious currently.

  5. Keep log of status updates after merging suggestions

    When I merge suggestion A into suggestion B, the comments from suggestion A are copied into suggestion B - but any status updates from suggestion A are not.

    Sometimes there's useful stuff in the old status update, such as troubleshooting steps to see if the symptoms match a known issue or not. So it's nice to be able to access those old status messages to copy-paste from them, for example.

    (The idea https://feedback.uservoice.com/forums/1-general-feedback/suggestions/4012056-canned-responses-for-suggestion-status-updates would help with this a bit, but only if you planned ahead and already knew you wanted to reuse the exact text of the status message).

    Hi everyone!

    Our Product Team reviewed this idea, and discussed internally.

    We built the “My Feedback” section in settings to list ideas a user has supported either by leaving a comment or casting a vote.

    While we can definitely understanding users wanting to see ideas they created, but no longer support, this is not a use case we designed this part of the application for.

    We do have supporter mode now for our product forums, which does let users support as many ideas as they want.     Hi – we have spent time investigating this and talking with many of you, and have decided to defer from building this for the time being. In our conversations with customers, we came across many different use-cases for custom fields and think we could potentially provide better, native support for some of the common use-cases like “priority” or “impact” rather than attempting to solve several problems with this one feature. We may revisit this idea after providing out-of-box support for the most common use cases.

  8. Be able to set MRR for users (not just accounts)

    Be able to pass MRR for users, so you can create segments based on User MRR and User Type.

    Thanks for the feedback on this idea! We do not have plans to expand support for revenue on the user level and are continuing to improve the usefulness of revenue data on the account level in UserVoice.

  9. Do not close/archive suggestions here

    I've noticed that some of the suggestions I've posted here are archived. IMHO, they are still relevant. IMHO, archiving suggestions does not make any sense - this would just result in duplicates created by others in a while.

    Thus, please stop archiving/hiding/closing old suggestions and restore those that are archived.

    You are right. Silently archiving suggestion is not a good customer experience.

    While we will need to decline ideas that don’t align with our Product Team’s vision, we need to communicate that to our customers.

    We are declining this idea because we will have to close out suggestions, but we are going to work to communicate much more openly around this going forward.

  11. Add place to post guidelines, instructions for a forum.

    Want to be able to post announcements and guidelines for the forum. While you can add some content in the welcome or forum message, these distract from user engaging with the forums.

    Would like to be able to post rich content that displays within the overall UV experience.

  15. The data in the admin portal's user sidebar (inspector) doesn't match what the contributor sidebar shows for that user

    If I view a user profile in the sidebar, their activity summary data is different from the activity summary data that I see in the admin console user inspector. They should match or be clear that they are showing different data. For example, in admin inspector/profile the lightbulb icon shows the number of suggestions that the user created, but in the contributor sidebar the lightbulb shows number of suggestions the users has supported. Also, in the admin user inspector there is a heart showing the number of votes the user has used, which is similar to the number of suggestion…

    Hi everyone!

    We appreciate your thoughts on this! We’ve moved away from the Inspector Sidebar being a key part of the product as we’ve introduced more features on our Users and Account Pages.

    As a result, we won’t be implementing this idea.

    Have ideas for ways we can make our User and Account pages even more valuable? Please, tell us!

  16. New List Uiew UX: Search field should persist on refresh when searching in a Saved View

    with the new list view ux, when I refresh the page, the search field clears and I am forced to redo my search.

    This behavior differs from the previous experience; however, we have found that the new experience is inline with user's expectations of how this should function.


    When you navigate to a saved view, you're loading a view which has a specific criteria (which may or may not also include search terms). We've found that when users navigate to a saved view, and they manually reload the page, they expect this to act as a reset, clearing out any changes to filters and resetting to the saved configuration.


    When not viewing a saved view (All Ideas), users expected the search terms to persist, which is current behavior.


    Thank you for your idea. We have decided to defer further investigation until more feedback is collected.

  18. Add a "Watch" button

    By clicking on the "Watch" button for a suggestion, a user would be notified on changes related to this suggestion, as if he had voted or commented on.
    I would be useful for a user who wants to follow up an idea but does not want to vote for it, an admin for example.

    With the addition of customizable importance ratings and the option to have them count or not count as votes, you can offer end users multiple ways of receiving notifications.

  19. Ability to resize the width of Roadmap columns in table view

    The columns are much larger than they need to be forcing the user to scroll to see all columns. If we could resize the columns then we could reduce the need to scroll right.

  20. Add an Idea ID or identifier to the idea properties

    With no identifier on the suggestions or ID listed in the properties, there is no quick way to track ideas or send one to a coworker for easy search other than the URL.

    Hello – We include “ID” as a property on an idea. This can be found in the “Properties” section on an idea’s detail sheet (screenshot attached). Admins can search for this ID from the Ideas page to locate the idea.
