Hi! I've just signed up for my free trial. UV seems to be the exact tool we need to help us prioritize and deliver more value from our development to our customers.
I'm currently using Customer Case for Jira. While it is extremely simple, it also has somethings that I believe are wonderful: it lists our Jira tickets as Feature Requests, and creates new issues into Jira when someone "Posts a new idea". It also uses the Jira voting system (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/customer-case-for-jira/cloud/overview).
However, it has a lot of limitations, such as it doens't allow me to choose which Issues to list, nor it has all the cool features UV has about metrics and visualization.
Therefore, there are somethings it would be nice for UV to have when integrates with Jira:
1 - Grab my Jira issues and show them as UV features (it may be restricted by the issue statuses I defined);
2 - When someone creates a new UV feature, it automatically creates a new Jira issue;
3 - It could use Jira Custom Fields to show some UV Feature information (such as Score, for example);By now, I believe that's all!

Great news it's being looked into!! We would like to use this in a way whereby we can connect a suggestion on our UV platform to a TASK or STORY or EPIC in JIRA.
There is a tool called 'invision' which we use when we create our designs, which can be connected to tasks/storys and epics in JIRA. We'd like the uservoice integration to work in the same way as this. I'd be happy to share screenshots with you or create a short video of where this is shown in regards to Invision if you would like some ideas?
Currently the product team at my company include a UV ref by writing: "Raised on featurevote - reference vote ID: 9251136." on a JIRA task/ story or epic. Having the vote ID there means the product team can see which UV request the JIRA task relates to, and therefore update the status through it's process in development. HOWEVER you cannot search for ID on Feature Vote (I have raised this as a seperate request), and you also have to manually find the UV suggestion. If the integration allowed you to click the Feature Vote and take you straight to the user voice platform, we wouldn't get so mixed up in which UV suggestion to update and waste time looking for it!
When a task/story is moved to DONE in JIRA, it would be good for the connected suggestion on uservoice to flag that development is DONE. We wouldn't want this to mark the user suggestion as complete automatically as with our development moving a dev task to DONE in JIRA does not mean it's released, but completed and "ready for release". So we'd want uservoice to show us JIRA is saying 'complete', and to remind us of this so we can write a status along with manually marking the suggestion as COMPLETE.
I'm sure most software companies will use a program similar to JIRA to log task management for their software departments and want to add reference to where the task originally came from. So if this integration was specced and developed, you may even get some leads from JIRA! Product teams massively benefit from uservoice, but the integration would make it even better!

Would love the ability to do the following with JIRA Cloud:
1. Push ideas from UV into JIRA - Product Manager chooses which ideas to push, selects the project in JIRA it should go to
2. Bring over UV data during push to JIRA - Number of votes, comments from uesrs
3. Ability to sync data after push to JIRA - ideas may continue to receive votes once moved to JIRA and comments may be added after push as well.

After a request has been voted on on our UV platform, and we have specced and designed the feature, we add it to our software development tool, JIRA.
When adding it into here the product team include UV ref by writing: "Raised as featurevotes are very high, references vote ID: 9251136." having the vote ID there means the product team can quickly search for the request on featurevote to update the status through it's process in development.
HOWEVER, the product team then needs to remember / Or manually look through all task descriptions to see when the software department has released a feature/fixed a bug that was mentioned on UV.
I'm sure most software companies will use a program similar to JIRA to log task management for their software departments and want to add reference to where the task originally came from.
Having this feature would help us greatly!

We'd like to be able to push UV Ideas into Jira, but it would need to be selective and the Idea needs to be fed into the appropriate project in Jira. Also, we are wondering what the ability is for Jira to push status updates into UV. Thanks.

We would like this integration too. We are looking for a platform that uservoice offers for customers to provide feedback and interact with engineering/product management...something that we feel Zendesk is lacking and not happy about

In case it's useful to ***** or any fellow commenters, I run a service that brings UserVoice tickets, JIRA issues (from OnDemand and local installations), and tasks from 40+ other services on to one screen.

It's not a complete integration, nor is it meant to be. Taco exists to solve one problem very well: let me see and prioritize work from many services. Taco's Chrome extension turns Chrome's new tab page into an interactive task list and that's how I usually use it.

+1 to the comment about the Zendesk - JIRA integration. They did a great job allowing easy ticket creation and linking to existing JIRA tickets. I don't know how else I'd manage my bug reporting workflow.
Currently considering moving from Zendesk and this is a real issue. -

Not sure if this is a thing, but I'd personally love to send customer issues directly into JIRA so we can get it planned in our backlog. Any movement on this? Or is there a rad way I can work around?

Zendesk has set a pretty high bar with their recent JIRA OnDemand add-on. Linking and creating JIRAs from Zendesk, optional bi-directional comment updating, nice widgets in both UIs, easy to configure wizards for which fields/data to share. This could be a deal-breaker for us when we consider moving over from Zendesk to UserVoice.

Hello.
I need to :
1) link a UserVoice ticket with a new Jira ticket (and copying the text content and attachment files in the new Jira ticket)
2) and MORE IMPORTANT to update the UserVoice ticket when the status of the Jira ticket has changed (Uservoice could be a follower of the Jira ticket and get the alert mail with the new status). This changes should appears in the yellow note field.
3) Simplier but ALSO IMPORTANT, the date/hour of UservVoice ticket MUST be updated when a yellow note is added. Instead, I wouldn't know if there was a Jira activity !

I currently add the ticket number to a custom field and audit bug reports as they're completed.
Ideally I'd like to see this be as simple as syncing a list of projects with UserVoice, have a drop down custom field containing the project and then issues numbers. This will let us track analytics on these issues with open support tickets using the slick UserVoice Analytics.
That's two clicks to sync. Then once an update occurs for that issue we can eventually set up a rule to take various actions (such as notify the support staff with a note for the final comment by the developer or something similar).
