Allow Drag and Drop of images to UserVoice suggestion attachment panel
Add drag-n-drop support for image/attachments to the UserVoice widget.
Currently drag and dropping an image into the "Post an Idea" attachment area results in the browser or application loading the image. The panel should interpret dropped content as attachments to prevent applications relying on this panel experience to be in unusable states.
We have reviewed this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!
As a software developer, screenshots are crucial for users to communicate issues and suggestions to us. We need this functionality for Post idea. I think the way User Voice accomplished this in the past (the now discontinued contact widget) may have created issues in certain environments as this is riddled with security concerns and complexity, which may be the reason there is little appetite to continue to support this.

It is very difficult to locate screengrabs in the old search method because they are typically an in-descriptive format (usually based on the time the capture was taken). Drag and drop of the known file that just appeared on the desktop would be a much better user experience.
I really need/want and easy way to add images (screen shots) from clipboard (like e.g. Target Process does it e.g. on their help desk) - a small picture often says more that 140 characters ... and more clearly
It is really no different that attaching an image files, just a lot less clicking and tying
