  1. Filter should have 'and' logic as default

    To reduce the number ideas filtered by search, the keywords should be applied with 'and' logic by default.

    At the moment, the number of findings increases if you add more key words.

    But to make UserVoice a success, it's important to reduce the number of findings to come out with max 10-20 search results to allow the user to find already existing ones for voting instead of entering a new one.
    If the search result exceeds 20+, it would be to time consuming for checking all the results and as result, UserVoice would end-up with redundant requests (idea) as in…

    While we don't support 'and' logic to filter keyword search results by default, we do provide search operators that can be used to further refine the results of your keyword searches. Take a look at this resource to learn more.

  3. Contributor Sidebar Stats included in Interactions Breakdown

    admin reports page should include the Contributor Sidebar in the breakdown of how people are interacting with our account (in addition to web portal, widget, mobile sdks)

  4. View content of messages sent to subscribers

    After I send a message to subscribers, I am unable to see the content of the message I sent them to refer back to. I like using the UserVoice interface to do this to get analytics, however when following up I am disappointed that I cannot refer back to the text of my message.

  5. Create Features that can contain multiple suggestions

    Currently, we can only have suggestions which do not map 1:1 to features that are being built. Add a feature section where suggestions can be tied to features.

    Hi everyone!

    We have added this functionality to the product. You can now follow up 1:1 with the user who creates an idea, comments on it or who had a request captured by a contributor.

    When the user replies, their reply will be captured within UserVoice as well, so you can keep the conversation within UserVoice.

  8. Allow end users to unsubcribe from email notifications with one click from the email

    Right now, when you click "unsubscribe" on one of our email notifications, it takes you to the web portal notification settings.

    This requires you to login.

    It would be better if you could click "unsubscribe" and be globally unsubscribed from notifications for that UserVoice subdomain, without having to login again.

    Thank you for the feedback on this! We have updated email notifications, so users can unsubscribe without logging in.

  9. Add more "No customer activity" filters

    Please add the following filters to the Suggestions Customer Activity filter:
    -No customer activity in the last 30 days
    -No customer activity in the last 60 days

    Or something similar. 90 days is very useful, but we have too many incoming ideas, would like to clean it out more aggressively using this filter.

  12. Export files in .xlsx format

    It used to be that I could export and get a link to different file types. Excel seems to be taken away, unless you're exporting data from the Settings panel.

    CSV opens a browser tab of unreadable information. Not super helpful.

  13. Customer feedback in Slack can be easily sent to UserVoice

    We have a public channel in slack for our customer community. We can use the sidebar to capture feedback on top of the Slack web client, but we would also like to be able to use it in the desktop client.

  14. Allow contributors to capture feedback on the forum (web portal)

    When a support person is viewing a suggestion on the forum website, allow them to quickly add customers to an idea. The suggestion that they are viewing should be automatically selected in the sidebar 'capture request' form.

  15. Email request submitter when an idea's status changes

    A customer-facing employee has used the sidebar to capture a request for a customer. That employee would like to know when that idea's status changes. Then the employee can reach out to the customer to give them an update. Also, it let's the employee know that the feedback they submit is being heard and responded to. Perhaps send a daily summary email that would sum up status changes to all the ideas that the employee has recorded requests for - including the before and after status, forum, category, suggestion name and a link, the list of customers that they personally…

    This is live! Now we’ll keep you in the loop when the product team responds to customer feedback you enter, so you can follow up with your customers and prospects.

    How does it work?
    1) You enter a customer’s feedback and connect it to an idea in UserVoice. (You might do this through the Contributor Sidebar or Zendesk app, or in the admin console with ‘capture feedback’, ‘add supporter’, or ‘link this ticket to an idea’)
    2) A UserVoice admin posts a status update for the idea.
    3) Now you will get an email with the status update and message plus the customer feedback that you captured for the idea, so you can follow up with those customers and prospects as you see fit.

  16. In System Admin view, allow users to filter or search by voter or submitter user account

    We are often trying to locate a full list of all the items that a user has voted or submitted. The view in the user management console is very cumbersome, so we would like to be able to filter in the idea management view by user.

    We have made multiple updates to the user’s page when it comes to viewing a user’s profile and quickly seeing their activity and a list of the ideas they support.

    Bulk label modification is now available! From the Suggestions grid you will be able to select multiple items and then use the new “Modify Labels” option under the More Actions menu. You will see the current status of the labels on your selection, and will be able to add or remove labels across the entire selection. There will be an undo option after completing this action. Please try this out and give us your feedback. Happy labeling!

  18. Ideas Widget for Private Forums

    I have a private forum for a feature that is in beta. I would like to have a widget in this new feature that works with the private forum that I have configured for its beta feedback. I am currently working around this by having the widget create a ticket in a queue instead of a suggestion in a forum. I then evaluate the ticket and create a suggestion for it in the forum. Having the widget save suggestions directly to the forum would cut down on my workload and would also provide appropriate instant answers within the widget.

  19. Update idea information (status, state, title) in the idea grid without refresh

    If you click on a suggestion and do the following:

    Change status
    Delete, move, mark as spam
    Change the title or description

    After you save, the grid will not update the suggestion until you refresh.

    Last week we released an update to our admin console Idea Grid. Along with these updates you will find that changes made to an idea from the detail sheet are dynamically added to the grid without a refresh. This includes updates to Idea titles, Descriptions, Public/Internal Statuses, Forums, Categories, and labels. Check it out!

  20. Pull in Locale and Region Information into Analytics

    Not only would this information to be able helpful to identify ideas that are popular in a certain regions, but also help identify issues that are being reported through the HelpDesk product. This also would be beneficial in correlation to NPS.
