Provide web portal URLs for UserVoice items in Slack
UserVoice items (ideas, feedback, comments) sent to Slack via the integration link back to the admin console.
Some use cases have non-admins clicking these links in Slack, but they are unable to access the admin console links.
Hi there,
Thanks for this early feedback.
Now, users without access to the UserVoice admin console will be directed to the web portal view of an idea when attempting to access that idea from a Slack channel.
UserVoice admins will still be directed to that idea in the admin console as they are today.
Let us know what you think.
Thanks again.

It looks like this already is a feature. If you’re logged in as an admin, it takes you to the admin console. If you’re not logged into uservoice, or you’re logged in as a customer (non-admin) it takes you to the portal. Here’s an example URL: https://your site.uservoice.com/redirect/suggestions/38992666-your-idea

This would be fantastic! If the link was smart enough to know whether or not the user clicking had admin vs portal access and direct them to the appropriate location, more people could take advantage of this functionality.
