Moderation settings should be applied at the forum level
I love the addition of moderation to Uservoice...if you have multiple forums, you may need different moderation needs per forum, so I think they should be applied at the forum level and not at the total accout level
Hello!
You no longer have to apply moderation settings uniformly across all your forums. You now have the flexibility to moderate new ideas and comments in specific forums of your choosing. More here.
Thanks for this feedback.

This feature is essential for properly communicating the progress of suggestions to customers. with thousands of suggestions across multiple areas of responsibility not having the ability to provide a dedicated channel of suggestions for our Product Managers to respond to has made more difficult to deliver the kind of communication that our customers expect from us.

We share an account for various products in my company. We'd like to set up an area to collect feedback for Product Release X. However I want to moderate new ideas coming in. Therefore I'd like to be able to turn on moderation for 1 forum, but not all of them.

Agree with others that this would be very helpful. Ideally at the forum level, but even as an option based on forum type (e.g., private vs public) would be better thatn the all or nothing option. Thanks for considering.

I think it's very important to have different moderation settings at the forum level. Not quite sure why it isn't already this way. Looks like people have been wanting this option for a while now. Anyone know how can we make this possible?

My company has like 8 forums and I only want to give support to one of those. The most bothering part is the notifications. I really want to receive mail notifications from my forum, to follow it more closelly, but I receive a ton of emails from others that I don't care.
I think it's ok to have access to all forums and the ability to post in there, but the notifications should be scoped.

@Bill I see this as a different idea pertaining to moderation settings, not "moderators" that only have access to specific forums.

I believe this is the same issue as http://feedback.uservoice.com/forums/1-general-feedback/suggestions/409499-add-forum-level-admins-moderators

moderation at the forum level is so essential! When will we have this by?

I dont see how this would be overkill. When I grant someone admin access, I only want them to have admin access to a specific forum and not the whole castle. Another option would be to have it display that a user is a company employee when replying to an idea so that the customer knows.

Understood that it would be overkill for most, but I'm sure your gold plan+ accounts have a need for this. I sure do!!! Any ETA on this idea yet? My corporation is loving UserVoice so far, but is debilitating without this feature. :)

I just got my site setup and I just assumed we'd have this ability but just now found out we don't . I agree. Please add.

I agree with that. Moderation makes sense integrated into the forums as well.
