Bulk merge multiple ideas

    It still isn't possible for users to recommend the merging of similar ideas. This creates endless duplicates on busy forums. When individual requests can get 50,000 votes there are hundreds of pages of ideas.
    This makes the platform harder to use.

    The status of this suggestion is "completed, March 2017" however we, the users, still have no ability to merge or recommend merger of similar or same ideas. This problem is so pervasive that even in this forum, moderated by UserVoice itself, there are multiple instances of this same suggestion that have not been merged in over four years.

    Our voice for change is being diminished! Divided, we are less effective at expressing our intent. UserVoice, you are discouraging and disabling us from achieving the very thing that you promise to do.

    UserVoice, you must enable a process for uniting the votes for similar or same feature requests, by moderator or by the users, or else you are not living up to your purpose and mission.

    Brilliant feature - only just discovered that you added it :) It'd be great if we could sort by number of supporters on the Suggestions page. I want to bulk merge the ideas with the highest supporters first as those'll make the biggest difference to the top ideas.

    This would be incredibly useful to our team as well. Is there another request in the forum that is similar to this idea? I would think this would be helpful for just about everyone.
