Instead of "No Status," as the default status, what would you like the initial status once an idea comes through to be labeled as?
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment David commentedIt would be great to be able to set a default as mentioned here, but one that includes a status message. In fact, it would be useful to have the custom status include a status message. Today, we work from a document where most of the messages are standardized for each status. That is, "Under Consideration" generally includes the same status message from our UV admins, that describes that particular status. Having this text as a part of the status set-up/definition would be great and provide consistency. Of course, these messages could be tweaked as needed when updating a given idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment David commentedIn the grid view, there is not currently a way to filter to ideas that are associated with a given feature. Because there is not an export capability within roadmaps that I could find, I wanted to filter to 'Feature X' ideas in the grid and export all associated ideas, bulk edit them to get a certain tag, create a view, etc. Even within the Roadmaps screen, if an idea does not have a comment, then you can not actually view the idea details itself!

An error occurred while saving the comment David commentedThis is a common request across our clients and teams supporting them. We have transitioned from the old way of managing spreadsheets and escalations-->UserVoice. However, customers have a hard time gathering what their own users are asking for, and as a result are still using spreadsheets and the like to track their organization-specific asks in UserVoice. Either internal CS teams are using the contributor dashboard/sidebar to populate these spreadsheets for their clients or admins are making exports. With over 1500 client orgs, we have not been able to support this use case on the admin side. Allowing our clients to see what their org in total is asking for (and our progress against those items) would elevate UserVoice's integration our most senior users' business planning etc.

An error occurred while saving the comment David commentedWithout this, instant email notifications on new ideas are either all or nothing. We have multiple product forums that different teams are responsible for. The only way to be notified when a new idea is sent is in the global email settings--which means all new ideas across all forums. Would like to see this be forum or view specific!

For our org. we have a document which describe what each of the statuses means. This document is on the front page of UV. We would default all our No Statuses to something like "Under Review" or "We're Monitoring This" and describe it as the initial phase of all ideas, that are being monitored. Ideally, the defaul status would allow us to set a default description (as currently possibly when setting the initial status for a new idea) Without this, we are updating all ideas from No Status to something else manually--so that users know that we ARE seeing and reviewing their ideas. There will come a time for us where we can not physically review every idea that comes through--so a default status helps the user know we see this, and what to expect. Note, UserVoice emails often go to spam for our users. We have tried using the tools available to us in UV to prevent this--this is one of the main reasons that we do not use the auto-reply email for this purpose. However, even if we did, this would only go to the user that submitted--we want all users that come to this new idea to know what to expect and be confident that our team is reviewing. Thanks!
