  1. Ability to select FORUM (no category) from Slack Integration to UserVoice

    Currently, when leveraging the Slack integration, you have the option to push to an existing Idea, or link no idea at all.

    The ideas then go into a universal bucket on the UserVoice side (screenshot).

    When leveraging the APIs we can send feedback from tools into a specific forum with 'no category' attached. (screenshot 2)

    We would like the ability to push ideas to a specific forum, with no category, without having to link to an existing idea

  2. Reduce the frequency of Salesforce Connector sync

    The Salesforce Connector frequently syncs all of our records as we update them from our DB. This updates the last modified date and causes the Connector to update those records in UV. This happens even if the fields UV syncs were not updated.

    I propose:
    1. To check the last modified of only the fields configured in the sync and update if they change.
    2. Add a setting to reduce the frequency of the sync.

    We're incurring extra charges from Salesforce because of this.

  4. A two-way Salesforce Integration

    We would like for our customer facing teams that work primarily in Salesforce to be able to stay in Salesforce while having access to the relevant up to date information they need. A two-way Salesforce integration would help in this effort.

  5. Two-Way Slack Communication

    We would like two-way Slack communication. Right now it's pretty much one-way communication from UserVoice to Slack. You can't respond directly to users or comment from Slack to UserVoice. You can capture feedback from Slack to UserVoice but that's it.

  7. Search for Slack channels

    As an Admin, I'd like to be able to search for a Slack channel when configuring UserVoice to a Slack channel.

    Currently, I have to scroll through a very long list of Slack channels that exist in our workspace. The dropdown is also quite narrow, so it makes it hard to read the channel names.

  9. Auto-Capture feedback from external sources

    We have many different external sources that contain potential feedback (e.g. app stores, forums, github, trusted shops, google reviews, etc.). It's takes a lot of effort to gather, analyse, cluster it and add it to Uservoice.
    I would like to have a functionality in uservoice that does this automatically. IMO that requires integration of external sources and strong context recognition capabilities. It would help us a lot to move towards a single point of truth feedback & research repository with Uservoice.
    check out enterpret.com that already has an approach.

  10. slack integration trigger adding a label

    With the Slack Integration, we would like to have ideas posted into channels only when a specific label or custom field is assigned. This will allow us to ensure the proper teams are receiving the new ideas.

    Category is too vague and our users don't always categorize items correctly.

  15. Google forms integration (Or Apps Script Recipe)

    We are not using the web portal, and would like to meet our teams and customers where they live.

    It would be great to have a no nonsense way to send data from Google forms to the uservoice API.

    I'll settle for an apps script example though!

  16. Recipe to set up Slack Custom App

    In my Org, we have the ability to set up bots and custom apps without issue.

    While the Native app is helpful to do ALL feedback from a generalistic manner, I would like to set up a workflow step that is very specific to my needs and area of ownership.

    Example: I am in charge of an Internal Employee experience, and I would like to have the ability to use Slacks APIs to do very specific things, such as capturing comments on a post, or using the Events API to record interaction with a post (Could just be an Idea)

  17. slack integration send to channel

    I would like to easily send an idea to a specific slack channel.

    this would be a better option than the existing integration which sends all new posts. this tends to overwhelm our teams, so we would prefer to validate first and then send only new, unmerged ideas to the specific slack channels.
