Option to specify Mail Server Settings Provide options to specify server address/protocol/credentials (POP, IMAP, SMTP) to use the mail system of your choice, as opposed to UserVoice's mail system.

Do not combine unrelated email threads based on subject line Stop combining unrelated, independent email threads when different senders happen to choose the same subject. It is cumbersome to deal with the artificial problems introduced when separate email chains with no shared history are automatically merged.

Customize UV Terminology Be able to change out key UserVoice words ("product," "suggestion," "feedback", "idea","vote", etc.) for more contextual terminology, and wording that is more relevant to a client's specific use case and product

Customize the date range of supporters for email reply We are trying to target email replies to only include supporters who have added ideas or voted in the last 60 days. Allowing for more customization of who to email instead of just singular or all would be beneficial.

Allow emailing the person who entered the suggestion There is no way to email a user to get more information about their idea unless they have Voted for the suggestion.
Users often enter feedback but fail to Vote for their own suggestion (I guess they assume the fact they entered the suggestion means the support it.
I need to be able to email the person who entered the feedback to get more clarity on what they are asking for but I cannot do that from within the admin console.1 voteWhen a user creates an idea, they are automatically counted as a voter as well. To email them, you can hit the “Reply” button in the admin console when you see a new idea.

Update the total amount of subscribers who will recieve a notification of a status update when you change subscription status On a suggestion with supporting users, if you click to update the status we will show a number X, "Email X subscribers".
If you click into a user's request (who is not subscribed) and click the checkbox to make them a subscriber/receive notifications, the number X will not change as expected.

Ability to search for products/services for which to provide feedback on main uservoice.com page. I really like uservoice. Sometimes, I'd like to provide feedback to a developer, but they don't make their uservoice page very obvious. I'd like to be able to go to uservoice.com and search for developers and products to easily find their uservoice page.

However, how companies want to promote their forums, and direct their users to that channel can be unique to each business. So this isn’t an idea we will be implementing.

Communicate with contributors on feedback within UserVoice When a contributor or admin captures feedback, PM's want to be able to follow up with them within UserVoice to ask follow up questions and get clarification. Right now, to follow up with an internal team member on feedback, they have to go outside UserVoice.

When emailing suggestion subscribers, allow subscribers to reply in UserVoice When I post a status update or a comment on a suggestion, I email subscribers about the post via UserVoice. When subscribers reply, their email reply is sent directly to me (outside of UserVoice). Ideally, their reply would post to the suggestion comment tread in UserVoice.

Quick polls with email blast invites Ability to do quick polls instead of smart polls. It would be even better if I could send blasts for either poll type out to my active users asking them to partake in the poll.

Ability to send an email satisfaction survey to users I received an email today that asked "How would you describe your experience with UserVoice?" where all I had to do was click one of 4 links inside the email and my survey answer was recorded.
I asked about it and Andrew Moyer told me it's an internal system that you're not planning on releasing as a feature of UserVoice? Why not? It's a slick user feedback tool which definitely falls in your wheelhouse!

Canned responses for suggestion status updates Have canned responses you can choose from updating the status of an idea, or automatically recommended if you use a certain status.

Allow users to subscribe to forum updates A customer has a group of folks that visit his site and give feedback. However, they only get feedback when they are notified there is a new idea to give feedback on (more of a collaboration tool really).
Allowing users to subscribe to specific forums where new ideas are posted would greatly help in this case.
