  1. Ability to respond to a user's comment publicly and thread the response to the comment being responded to

    It would be nice to clarify confusion about a product left as a comment on an idea. There have been times in the past that we have used a single idea to almost act as a thread for feedback via comments. Currently, you can only respond privately to one user to address their concern; however it would be helpful to have that information seen publicly to other users, in case they run into the same issue.   2. Allow users to subscribe to forum updates

    A customer has a group of folks that visit his site and give feedback. However, they only get feedback when they are notified there is a new idea to give feedback on (more of a collaboration tool really).

    Allowing users to subscribe to specific forums where new ideas are posted would greatly help in this case.

  5. Email end users a summary of updates and activity

    Similar to the Admin Digest Email, send end users who have participated in UserVoice forums/widgets updates on the latest news from the product team.

  7. Email Subset of Subscribed Voters

    We want to be able to select a particular subset of users when using the "Emailing Subscribed Voters" functionality. Ex: If there are 100 customers who have voted for an idea, we may want to select a subset of 10 to email, but still want that communication to live in UV.

  8. Communicate with contributors on feedback within UserVoice

    When a contributor or admin captures feedback, PM's want to be able to follow up with them within UserVoice to ask follow up questions and get clarification. Right now, to follow up with an internal team member on feedback, they have to go outside UserVoice.

  9. When emailing suggestion subscribers, allow subscribers to reply in UserVoice

    When I post a status update or a comment on a suggestion, I email subscribers about the post via UserVoice. When subscribers reply, their email reply is sent directly to me (outside of UserVoice). Ideally, their reply would post to the suggestion comment tread in UserVoice.

  10. Customize Email

    We are an organization in the Netherlands and the primary language is Dutch. I would like the ability to make edits to the Subject Line for outgoing customer emails and change the way the date is displayed. Additionally, there is a Footer with a link to UserVoice and I would like this removed as it is confusing to the customer, since the email is from SnelStart with a link to UserVoice. Our customers think it is spam when they see the UserVoice link.

  11. Show who is getting notified of public status updates

    When you make a public status update, a message "Email x subscribers" shows.

    This number, x, is the total number of voters who are subscribed and don't have status updates turned of in their global notification preferences AND admins who do have the admin notification preference for all status updates.

    We do not surface this clearly in the UI, and we should either provide explanatory text as to what this number includes, or somehow surface who is getting notified.

    It could be just a list of the admins who will get notified, since they aren't included in the "Users" tab…

  13. Quick polls with email blast invites

    Ability to do quick polls instead of smart polls. It would be even better if I could send blasts for either poll type out to my active users asking them to partake in the poll.

    Add functionality to set SLAs for idea response times to keep PMs on top of newly created ideas and our customers happy as each one will receive a response from a PM in a timely manner.

  19. Automatic email message when Public Status is changed

    Would like the message and email notification to be auto-filled when changing the Public Status. Having this feature would massively assist the efficiency of our new back-end procedures and save time for our product team.

    For example we have a Status of Already exists and would like to auto-send the following email "Thanks again for sending your idea to us. Having reviewed it, the idea is already available in one of our existing solutions. We've asked our support team to contact you directly to walk you through this alternative solution. You can also contact us via the online Support Portal."

  20. Kanban board view for end-users' submissions

    It would be fantastic if UserVoice introduced a Kanban board view option for the end user-facing (i.e. non-admin) feedback list. Board columns could represent each status. Thanks for listening!
