  1. clone views

    There is currently no way to clone a view.

    It is common for people to create a view to show the ideas for a specific account which could include column customisation, ordering, filters etc. If I want to create the same for another account I have to repeat the steps which feels very inefficient.

    View and lists can now be copied, renamed, and edited. The option is available in the 3 dot menu next to each View or List name in the secondary nav.

  2. Be notified via Slack when assigned to an Idea

    As a PM, I would like to be notified via Slack when I'm assigned as the owner of an Idea.

    Users will receive a direct Slack notification when assigned to an Admin selection custom field (typically used for Idea Ownership)

  3. Show Top Merge Matches Report

    Ability to see multiple merge match options instead of working through each identified merge match and having to click one by one

    Merge Match just got a big upgrade.  You can now filter the grid to show only Ideas that have a Marge Match candidate.  It will honor the filter settings to show you only applicable candidates.

    You'll also notice that there is no limit to the number of merge candidates you can cycle through.  Back and forward arrows will allow you to skip matches without making a decision on them.

    We hope this update allows you to quickly eliminate duplicates from your list of Ideas with a lot more ease!

  4. Ability to export report reflective of filters applied

    Customer would like to see the ability to export idea report that is reflective of their filtered view, instead of seeing all the information/columns that is available. It's good to see all information but in some cases they would like to see an export of what they have filtered out. For example, they would like to see an exported report that just has summary of idea, idea content, number of voters and creation date/last update only.

  5. Copy Idea Link Button in Admin Console

    Please add a "copy idea link" button to the Admin Console, just like the smartlink you have in the Contributor Console and Sidebar.

    You are now able to copy the link to an Idea directly from the Idea Grid or from the Idea Details sheet when looking at a single Idea. On the grid, hover your mouse over the Idea Title and click the copy icon. On the Idea Details sheet, click the Share Icon and choose whether you want to copy a link to the admin view of the Idea or the web portal view of the Idea.

  6. Link Ideas to Feature via API

    As an admin, I'd like an ability to automate linking an idea to a feature via the API

  7. FRs by Account in Table Format and/or Export

    I'd like to easily review all Feature Requests that match a customer or keyword (eg.. company name) in a simple and easy to review table; as opposed to the blog view we can see in the activity dashboard search results today. I'd also like the ability to easily export that table of data into a CSV/XLS

    You can use Advanced Filters to accomplish this on the grid. Select the account or accounts you'd like, and then you're able to sort or further filter the Idea Grid as you'd like, and export the results.

  8. Requirement for data to be stored / hosted in the EU

    Currently we do not have a data center and archetecture to support companies that have made the internal decision to require their data only be stored on a server located in the EU given their interpretation of the regulation.

    We take security and compliance extremely seriously and have taken the measures to ensure we meet all requirements set forth by all key regulatory bodies which includes GDPR (full list can be found at https://uservoice.com/security-compliance).

    We do, however, appreciate some business' adhere to this and are tracking how many companies we are losing potential revenue on to build a case…

    This is possible with the UserVoice Feedback Capture Chrome Extension. The last Forum/Category combo that a contributor chose will be remembered between uses, so that a default can be set or that multiple Ideas can be captured for the same area in quick succession without having to re-select the Forum/Category.

  10. Contributor Console Not Appearing in "Activity by Source" Report

    When feedback is captured via Contributor Console, it is not currently showing up in the Activity by Source pie chart. It would be beneficial because the team only uses Console to capture Contributor Feedback, and we would like to easily see how much feedback is being captured in that channel

  11. Report for Ideas Lifecycle

    They are looking for a report that tracks the concept of ideas submitted vs completed ideas. He wants a report that can illustrate lifecycle of ideas as they progress through stages (statuses) from new idea to completed. He described 2 benefits from this report. One, the ability to better understand their product development process (to see which stages ideas are getting stuck in, and why). Two, to illustrate to leadership the overall impact of UV (we have collected X amount of ideas which have become Y amount of new features)

    We just launched an update to the Status Update section of the Activity Report. We’re now showing how many times ideas were marked as a certain status within a designated time period as well as the customer reach of every update. Check out the attached image!

  12. Ability to export the "insights" data (ideas that need tidying up, most chatty, trending)

    I like the insights table but I really want to be able to export the table data for my peers and managers. For example, the ideas that need tidying up, the ideas "most chatty" and trending ideas. I can't share this information otherwise.

    Idea Insights has gotten a refresh. In addition to a visual update, you can now:

    • Navigate from each section of the report to the grid with the same Ideas listed, so that you can operate on them in bulk or review them with complete context
    • By following the link to the grid, you can now export the complete lists.
    • Change the time frame for the both the top and bottom sections of the report
    • The report is now responsive, so it will stack vertically on smaller screen sizes

    We hope this makes Idea Insights even more useful and actionable for you!

  13. Filter by Negative Criteria

    Provide the ability to filter by ideas that do not have a particular label or outside of a certain date range, or not a particular category.

    Hello 👋

    Advanced filtering allows you to narrow your list of ideas based on negative logic criteria. For example, you can now filter for ideas that do not have a specific label(s), not supported by a specified account(s), don't have specified statuses, or for ideas that are not in a specific idea category.

  15. Custom time period filter for Activity reports

    Time period filter should be customizable. Not just 30/90/365 days. We need to choose 1. and last day of a month when doing monthly reports otherwise its useless for us :(
    The idea is good and we like it but we don't always have a time to check the Activity at the beginning of the month to see the last 30 days

    Hello,

    Yesterday we introduced “Internal Comments” on ideas to replace Notes. Don’t worry, we’ve kept all your previously created notes. They are now called internal comments.

    Internal comments can be deleted at an admins discretion.

    Also exciting about internal comments is that you now have the ability to mention other admins directly on ideas.

    Here’s what you can expect.

    @mention other UserVoice admins on internal comments

    Reply to internal comments in threads

    Email and in-app notifications when you’ve been mentioned on a UserVoice idea.

    Email and in-app notifications when there is new activity on an internal comment thread that you’ve participated in.

    Wooo! Emojis work in status updates! 🚀 🎉  Keep in mind that some email clients may render emojis differently.

  19. Disable the escape key when adding links in email

    When replying to a user/customer and you are adding a link in, if you hit the escape key, not only will it close the "add a link" box, but the suggestion window too. So you're losing whatever you already typed.

    I don't know how many emails I had to rewrite because of this recently.

    From the Users or Accounts tab on an idea, you can hide/show each of the columns by clicking the column selector. Check out the attachment for reference.
