Support custom user and account traits with the Identify feature You can pass the standard user and account traits, but sometimes you need to pass custom traits.
For example, your users have two different ID's, and you want both passed as traits.

Hi everyone,
You can now follow ideas! As an admin, when viewing an idea, click the “Follow” button in the top right corner.
You can choose to be updated of status updates on the idea, customer activity like votes and email replies, and admin activity like merges or notes.
Notifications for the activity will appear the notification center (bell icon in the left hand menu of the admin console). Learn more about the notification center here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1908661
Have additional notification options you would like to see when following an idea? Let us know! We want your feedback on this feature.

Restrict who can manage Labels For teams utilizing a standard set of labels, not every person should be able to create new labels because it effects everyone. Ideally, specific admins would be granted permission to edit Labels, similar to how settings permissions can already restrict forum and category settings.
6 votesWe have completed this. Admins must now have Settings access in order to manage labels.
Admins without Settings access can add and remove labels on suggestions, but they can’t delete, create or edit labels.

Be able to search for an exact phrase match When searching ideas, articles or tickets, you can enter a phrase, but you can't do an exact match.
For example, if I only want to see ideas with the phrase "Add a new widget color," I can't. I will pull up any idea with anywhere from one to all of those keywords.
Being able to do an exact search like you can on Google would be super helpful for finding specific ideas, articles or tickets.
21 votesThis functionality is now available in the Admin Console on the Ideas, Users, and Accounts pages (use double quotes to indicate a phrase).

Filter ideas based on created date range When viewing an idea in the admin console, you can see the date it was created. This is sort of helpful, but you still have to count backward to determine the age of the idea.
It would be helpful if the actual age of the idea was also shown for admins. Like created 2 weeks ago, or 1 month ago, or 2 years ago. This way they can quickly see how old the idea is.
It would also be helpful if you could then filter ideas based on the age. So you could view all ideas that are 1 month…
32 votesHello 👋
Idea creation date is a new filter available to you with advanced filtering. It allows you to identify ideas created in a time range you determine.
More on advanced filters here.
Thanks for this feedback.

UserVoice Widget should support SSO New Widget needs to support SSO. The new widget currently does not support SSO. I have a private site and I have to currently use the Classic Widget instead. Please add the ability for the new widget to handle SSO.
57 votesGreetings from UserVoice,
We now have Single Sign-On support for the UserVoice Ideas Widget.
Get started today by Logging in to UserVoice > Settings > Widgets > Advanced setup > SSO authentication.
Thanks,

Integration with Salesforce for Feedback We are a SaaS company and want to learn quickly by giving customers the possibility to come up with ideas and feedback. Our account managers however need to know what's happening:
How much feedback does a customer give? (amount)
What's the feedback about? (content)
What's the status of ideas submitted by a customer? (planned, etc.)Can you guys make the magic happen?
I31 votesGreetings from the UserVoice Team,
A little over a week ago we announce that the availability of the UserVoice Salesforce Feedback and Opportunity Sync Integration.
We’re very excited about this feature and hope you’ve had a chance to check it out. If not, in your UserVoice admin console, go to the Integrations page in Settings to get started today.
We’d love to get your initial reaction as to how we did with this integration. Please take a minute to fill out this quick survey.

Remove voting limitations The limited voting numbers turned me off to participating in idea submission and feedback. If an idea works for me, I'll vote it up. If not, I won't. Why place a limitation?

Ability to print or export the Activity Report Allow me to print or export the dashboard so I can present it to my Exec team.
37 votesWe just released a new feature that allows you to download the Activity Report as a PDF. This is a great way to quickly share your UserVoice activity with colleagues and stakeholders. You can also download each individual chart as an image, making them easy to add to documents and presentations.

Canned responses for suggestion status updates Have canned responses you can choose from updating the status of an idea, or automatically recommended if you use a certain status.
30 votesHi there! 👋
You can now set a default status message for each of your public and internal statuses.
If you've set up a default message, the message box will be populated with that text when you select a status, and then you can tailor the content if you would like!
We hope this saves you time and encourages you to send even more status updates to encourage your users to stay engaged.

Filter dashboard stats by date range The one item I thought I would see in the beta reports was customizable reporting on how much activity we see to the site (not just tickets). The number of visits is reported on the main dashboard page, but you can't filter the date range (it just shows you a running month, which isn't really helpful for historical reporting purposes). I have found the information on tickets by week, but I'd love to also be able to report on how many people (we think) are using the site to find answers, not just submit tickets.
Purpose: I'd like to be…
31 votesHey all,
This idea existed before our current Activity Report but the use case is still applicable to Activity Report.
A couple weeks back we launched a new date picker on the Activity Report that gives you the ability to filter your reports by a custom time period. If you haven’t been to the activity report lately, check it out today.
Thanks,

Allow admins to select which forums they receive activity notifications for Each forum is intended for a certain product which has it's own product manager. These managers would like notifications any time a new idea is posted in that forum versus other forums.

Send auto-reply email to users who submit feedback (email receipts) Add option to give users automatic email notifications when they submit a new idea through Uservoice's feedback tool. Basically just a "thank you" message that users receive automatically after they send in an idea.
Uservoice's Helpdesk tool offers it, we'd like to see it added to feedback.
65 votesWe're excited to announce that this feature is live! You can now create an email that will automatically be sent to your users after they submit an idea. This is a great way to communicate to your users that you have received their ideas as well as set up any expectations for how you triage and manage their feedback. Go to General Settings and select Auto-reply Emails (/admin/settings/forum_autoreplies) to get started.

Be able to pass user/account traits via the API Right now, you have to use the javascript code to pass user/account traits. It would be great if there was a way to also do this via the API. This would give admins more options for passing this data.

Public Roadmap I would like to be able to order things that we're planning to do into a public roadmap of sorts that can show on the UserVoice portal. Ideally I'd like to group items into buckets so we can show what we're working on at a high level, with detailed items shown if you dig into a bucket, but serial priority would work initially.
290 votesHi All
We've added the ability to share a roadmap publicly. However, we realize that there are a lot of different ways that customers want to use public roadmaps, so we'll be tracking those other features separately.
Other ideas we're already tracking:
- Allowing customers to provide feedback on roadmap items
- Facilities for adding richer media (images/video, longer desciptions) to roadmap items
Recently, we added the ability to make a roadmap item from an idea with 1 click (you can do this from any Idea detail sheet).
Please let us know on our feedback forums how we can better provide roadmap tools that help you communicate how you're listening to your customers and that their feedback is important!

Ability to view all open ideas across all forums in the Admin Console This would make it easier for them to either create a quick export of just that information as well as manage the list directly without jumping between each forum.

Be able to use Service Hooks with a specific Forum or category For example, right now with the Slack integration, you have to push all ideas across all Forums. It would be great if you could choose a specific forum or category when using Service Hooks to push data.
63 votesHello everyone!
We are happy to announce that we have implemented a feature to allow custom service hooks to push from a specific forum.
More information about custom service hooks can be found here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/49266-setup-custom-web-service-hooks
We haven’t implemented a feature to use service hooks with a specific category within a forum, which some of you have asked for in this suggestion.
We want to capture some more feedback for this use-case, so if you want to be able to use a specific category with service hooks, please leave us some more feedback on this idea: https://feedback.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/38317960/

Be able to export User and Account Traits User and Account traits give admins valuable data, and it would be even more valuable if it was possible to export those traits as well.
13 votesUserVoice has several new export options to help you better analyze feedback and users.
- You can now export a list of users almost anywhere in UserVoice – the main users list, users supporting a suggestion, or in an account. The export includes all the information that we have about the user, including their custom fields, accounts, and location.
- For custom analysis of trends and user segments, try the new ‘enhanced analysis’ option for suggestion exports. This export includes the selected suggestions along with all their supporting users, accounts, location, and traits. Use the export in any tool like Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau to slice, dice, and graph. Learn more here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1083535-measure-the-impact-of-ideas-with-the-analysis-expo
- All of this data is also available via API and more exports are coming soon.
Please note: You will need to be on one of our current plans that includes this feature. If you’re on a…

Don't allow SSO users to override their email and password Being on our SSO implementation, we see a major problem with the
ability for users to change their passwords and email addresses while in UserVoice. This gives
the user the impression that they have changed their emails and password in our system as
well, which of course means they can't login to the site.38 votesWe just rolled out this functionality! If you are using Single Sign On (SSO) as your only option for authentication, your users will no longer see the option to update their email address and password in UserVoice.
If you using SSO in conjunction with UserVoice’s default authentication, then users will be able to edit their username and email since you allow both sign in options.
Have questions or more feedback, let us know!
