Widget for Desktop Application We would like to be able to embed the widget in our desktop application, if the widget was ".net" we would be able to leverage this feature.

OR operator in Idea views and filters So you can see all ideas in that are in a certain forum OR have a certain label

Customize search stop words Some words aren't searched unless quotes are used - "and", "add", "it", etc.
In some cases, these could be important words to a product and search results would be helpful to be returned.

Admin capability to remove flagged status from an idea The contributor feature to flag feedback is great, but as an Admin, there is no way to unflag an idea once this has been addressed.

Include user sentiment in the activity report It would be nice to be able to see a snapshot of a custom timeframe for user sentiment around status updates that were made across the whole site, versus a specific forum/idea - including the thumbs up/down, any subsequent votes/comments made after the status, the percentage of emails opened/clicked/responded.
This could give us a more holistic look into how users approach our overall brand/product on top of the more granular look we get per each post.
Example, living in the Status Updates section of the Activity Report:

Make it possible to enter code in an idea description Even if it is not a majority use case for the kinds of products that UserVoice supports, there will be times when technical users want to add feedback that includes programming code.
It should be possible to receive and sanitise code just like StackExchange do…

Poor usability of ‘Describe your idea’ textarea The ‘Describe your idea’ textarea is set at a height of 5em with
resize:none
. This is unhelpfully restrictive and makes entering anything more than 5 lines of text a complete pain.The simple solution is to remove
resize:none
or, if that is too great a stretch, useresize:vertical

Accessibility/usability concerns: text styling This idea text manifests as light grey text (#87898F) on a white ground, which fails the minimum recommended contrast ratio.
Comments on ideas are rendered as 13px text on too long line lengths. The recommended base size for prose text is 16px or 1rem.

Email end users a summary of updates and activity Similar to the Admin Digest Email, send end users who have participated in UserVoice forums/widgets updates on the latest news from the product team.

Sync Custom fields via the Jira Integration Allow the custom configuration of custom fields between Jira cards and UserVoice features.
Right now, the integration only syncs out of the box data and does not allow for further configuration.

Add a "Watch" button By clicking on the "Watch" button for a suggestion, a user would be notified on changes related to this suggestion, as if he had voted or commented on.
I would be useful for a user who wants to follow up an idea but does not want to vote for it, an admin for example.2 votesWith the addition of customizable importance ratings and the option to have them count or not count as votes, you can offer end users multiple ways of receiving notifications.

Roadmap search for contributor facing roadmap view as a end user, I want to search the roadmap (rather than only option being navigating the kanban or filtering by product area. as a end user I want to search (so it searches feature title and description)

Get vote count in Jira export I love the Jira integration. However, when I export my backlog in Jira, I can't see the number of votes so it makes it impossible to give a top 10 of my customer needs from Jira. We do this from UserVoice and from Jira to compare since Jira contains other information and other sources of client feedback that UserVoice does not. We need the integration to breakdown the link to be able to export the votes and name in different columns.
