Email request submitter when an idea's status changes A customer-facing employee has used the sidebar to capture a request for a customer. That employee would like to know when that idea's status changes. Then the employee can reach out to the customer to give them an update. Also, it let's the employee know that the feedback they submit is being heard and responded to. Perhaps send a daily summary email that would sum up status changes to all the ideas that the employee has recorded requests for - including the before and after status, forum, category, suggestion name and a link, the list of customers that they personally…
10 votesThis is live! Now we’ll keep you in the loop when the product team responds to customer feedback you enter, so you can follow up with your customers and prospects.
How does it work?
1) You enter a customer’s feedback and connect it to an idea in UserVoice. (You might do this through the Contributor Sidebar or Zendesk app, or in the admin console with ‘capture feedback’, ‘add supporter’, or ‘link this ticket to an idea’)
2) A UserVoice admin posts a status update for the idea.
3) Now you will get an email with the status update and message plus the customer feedback that you captured for the idea, so you can follow up with those customers and prospects as you see fit.Learn more here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1183483
Common questions
Q: Can I unsubscribe from these status updates?

Add more "No customer activity" filters Please add the following filters to the Suggestions Customer Activity filter:
-No customer activity in the last 30 days
-No customer activity in the last 60 daysOr something similar. 90 days is very useful, but we have too many incoming ideas, would like to clean it out more aggressively using this filter.
2 votesCheck it out! We have added a custom date option for the Inactive filter on the idea grid.

Flag/highlight ideas that may need to be merged New ideas come in all the time, and it can be hard to go and check them all for ideas that need to be merged. Adding a report that highlights or flags ideas that might be duplicates (so admins can double check) would help keep these duplicate ideas from slipping through the cracks.
17 votesLast week we released Merge Matches! 🚀 Merge Matches is a new way to automatically identify which ideas are similar to one another, giving you the option to merge them together to help reduce the number of duplicate ideas. You can access this feature directly from the Idea Grid.

Greetings from UserVoice,
Wanted to make sure all supporters of this idea know that we now have this feature available.
From the user detail sheet of a non-licensed user admins now have the ability to delete that user.
Thanks,

On the web portal, add an extra confirmation step to "flag as inappropriate" links Currently, it is very easy to accidentally click the "flag as inappropriate" link next to ideas in a list (I have already accidentally done this). It would be nice if there was an extra confirmation (a popup box or something) to confirm that this was the intended action.
8 votesHello!
To prevent the accidental reporting of an idea as inappropriate, we've included a confirmation step that must be completed in order to report ideas.
More here.
Thanks for this feedback.

Segment idea stats for specific date ranges Instead of just showing all-time stats for ideas, be able to display stats for ideas for a particular date range.
For example, which ideas gained the most support in the last 90 days? How much feedback have we received in the past week, and what was that feedback? Which product areas received the most feedback last month?
10 votesOur recent Idea Insights release helps answer many of these questions. For more granular date filtering, you can filter the Idea Grid for ideas with the most votes over a specified period of time.

Be able to remove past NPS ratings People often test the NPS widget on their account, and we have no way to remove this ratings from being included in analytics
54 votesYou can now delete NPS testing records, negating them from your NPS analytics!
This can be achieved with our Admin API. First, find the IDs of the scores you want to delete using the LIST endpoint: https://developer.uservoice.com/docs/api/v2/reference/#operation/ListNpsRatings
Then, use either the bulk endpoint to delete many, or the singular endpoint to delete an individual score.
- Bulk: https://developer.uservoice.com/docs/api/v2/reference/#operation/BulkDeleteNpsRatings
- Singular: https://developer.uservoice.com/docs/api/v2/reference/#operation/DeleteNpsRatingsFor more information, visit our Admin API Reference: https://developer.uservoice.com/docs/api/v2/reference/#tag/nps_ratings (click ‘Contact Support’ in the lower-right of the developer site if you have questions).

add "supporters in time period" column to forum activity export On the forum activity export, there is a column for "votes in time period". There is also a column for "supporters", but not one for "supporters in time period".
It would be useful to have this column included, so you can see the amount of supporters an idea has received in a given time period.
5 votesHi everyone,
Thank you so much for your feedback around this.
With our Analysis Export you can export ideas with activity for a specific time period, including the number of users who have added their support during that time frame. This article walks through the basics of this report: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1083535
With our Analysis Report you can also measure activity on your forums, and how much feedback you receive from each channel by month. Learn more about the report here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1867393
If you have any questions around either feature, please, let us know!

View all ideas, tickets, and users related to a specific company account You can view all ideas a user has created, but being able to see all ideas a company has created would be even more useful, and help you see what a company as a whole wants vs. just individual users.
Now that we have the “account” trait, it would be great if we could consolidate all related users, feedback, and support tickets from users belonging to that organization (e.g., “Acme Co.”).

Allow users to search AND sort/filter ideas on the web portal On the front end, you can search by keyword, but you can't sort the ideas by new or hot or top. You also can't narrow your search by category.
You can sort ideas by new, hot or top, but if you try and view ideas by categories or status, it ignores the sort option.

Support DKIM aligned email communications All outgoing emails are signed with uservoice.com's DKIM keys. It would be great if admins had the option to sign out going emails with their own DKIM keys.
77 votesYou can now configure DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) within UserVoice! DKIM is an authentication protocol used by mail clients to determine whether an email originated from the domain specified. This prevents spammers from wrongfully acting as the identity of a system that they do not belong to. In short, it helps prevent spammers from impersonating you and helps improve deliverability of legitimate emails. Learn how to set up DKIM in UserVoice by accessing the article below.

Simplify admin login form (/admin/signin) The login page is terrible UX. Why hide the username and password for your most valuable customers? Also why not just place username/pwd fields straight up on the page instead of a dynamic reveal. This confuses me every time.
134 votesHi everyone! We recently rolled out improvements to our admin sign- in page (/admin/signin).
Those updates include:
-No more disappearing password field if an incorrect email is entered.
-If incorrect credentials are entered, we will give the standard message “incorrect email and/or password was entered.”
-Works with password management utilities.
If you have any questions or feedback on these changes, let us know!

For example, your users have two different ID's, and you want both passed as traits.

Hi everyone,
You can now follow ideas! As an admin, when viewing an idea, click the “Follow” button in the top right corner.
You can choose to be updated of status updates on the idea, customer activity like votes and email replies, and admin activity like merges or notes.
Notifications for the activity will appear the notification center (bell icon in the left hand menu of the admin console). Learn more about the notification center here: https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1908661
Have additional notification options you would like to see when following an idea? Let us know! We want your feedback on this feature.

Restrict who can manage Labels For teams utilizing a standard set of labels, not every person should be able to create new labels because it effects everyone. Ideally, specific admins would be granted permission to edit Labels, similar to how settings permissions can already restrict forum and category settings.
6 votesWe have completed this. Admins must now have Settings access in order to manage labels.
Admins without Settings access can add and remove labels on suggestions, but they can’t delete, create or edit labels.

Be able to search for an exact phrase match When searching ideas, articles or tickets, you can enter a phrase, but you can't do an exact match.
For example, if I only want to see ideas with the phrase "Add a new widget color," I can't. I will pull up any idea with anywhere from one to all of those keywords.
Being able to do an exact search like you can on Google would be super helpful for finding specific ideas, articles or tickets.
21 votesThis functionality is now available in the Admin Console on the Ideas, Users, and Accounts pages (use double quotes to indicate a phrase).
