Allow users to add attachments to comments One user creates an idea and adds an attachment, with a relevant image or document. Admin would like other users to be able to add their own images/files in response to the original idea. Right now there's no way to do that with comments.

Rich-text formatting for idea status updates It would be great if I could format admin responses to ideas using a WYSIWYG editor.

Integration with Visual Studio Online (TFS On-Demand) Team Foundation Server (TFS) integration would be great (as underlying ticket system similar to JIRA integration)!

It would be great if I could create ideas on behalf of users I often get emails from users with suggestions and ideas. It would be great if I could add them to the feedback forum on their behalf (just like I can with tickets)

Ability to sign in using Microsoft Live ID It would be nice to provide the option of authentication to this site with one's Microsoft Live ID, especially considering you offer Google authentication.

Allow admins to add attachments to responses, status updates and comments Currently, attachments can only be added to ideas, not to admin responses or comments.

When sending internal status updates, public status updates, or posting comments from the admin console, you now have the ability to include attachments.

Allow multiple option selection from the filters in Admin area When in the admin console, sometimes I may want to view ideas with more than one status but not all. I would be really useful to be able to select multiple options

In the Admin Console, hide “closed” ideas by default It would be very useful to view only ideas that are "not closed" (all ideas that have been responded to as well as those which have not been responded to in one search). The current view is difficult to navigate due to the number of items that have been shipped or declined being mixed with other ideas.

Assign & filter feedback by admin (and team) Especially once they've moved to the "under review" or "planned" statuses - need an easier way to make sure there's follow up on these things.

Using our new custom field feature, you can add an Admin Select custom field type. Once created, you'll have the option to assign an admin to an idea which will notify them via email. Coming soon you will be able to filter and sort the idea grid by assigned admin.

Support HTML formatting in forum welcome message Right now the Forum welcome message only supports textile formatting. It would be great if it support HTML formatting, like the site welcome message does.

Please note that no welcome messages created before this feature release will have to be redone. For your convenience, we’ve ensured that all existing forum welcome messages are still properly displayed.

Weekly digest - Daily is too often A daily digest is too often for me. I would like to go through new ideas once a week.
20 votesThe frequency of our new digest email can be adjusted by visiting Settings > Email Subscriptions > Insights — you can choose, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly as options.

Display when a suggestion received votes over time Being able to view the last time an idea received a vote would be a handy feature to have - being able to see if there are older ideas with few votes and no recent activity would help determine whether or not to decline that idea.

Convert a comment to a new idea Sometimes a user will make a great suggestion as a comment on another suggestion. Often the original suggestion inspired the second which would be why it's in the wrong place.
I'd like an option added to the actions on comments to be able to turn them into suggestions
72 votesWe have launched the ability to create an idea from a comment. If you have a comment on an idea that should be a separate idea, then this feature will help you track interest and demand for the new idea. Read more here.

Merge ideas from different forums The merge feature is restricted to one forum.
Is it possible to allow merges of ideas from different forums?

We have an API endpoint that allows you to sort ideas by “Hotness” and “Recent Engagement.”

Support Password Management Utilities With the new UserVoice login screen, a regression was introduced where password management tools (such as the Mac OS X keychain) can no longer be used to automatically fill in the username and password.
Due to past identify theft issues, I now have a different, random, 20-character password for every single website on the Internet, so allowing the Keychain to automatically fill in password forms is a huge benefit to me since I can't remember any of the 513 passwords stored in my Keychain!

Voter demographics (who is voting?) Some customers are bigger revenue-drivers for us. Consequently their feedback is more valuable to us. It should be possible to organize customers into voting classes or groups, so that, for example, "Revenue 500" customers' votes carry more weight when the votes are counted. The weight factor should only be visisible to UserVoice administrators of course.

Allow admins to split ideas Provide the ability for admins to take an idea that was submitted and split it into two.
The reason is because sometimes someone posts an idea that consists of two aspects, that to us, are two different ideas. Lets say we already have one feature they ask for but not another, we cannot assign the statuses to the requests properly.
When splitting, just let us pick what description text and title to put in the new ticket. I realize splitting will cost the voter more votes, but if the workaround to avoid that is let us close one of the…56 votes👋🏻 Hi Everyone -
You can now split ideas in the UserVoice admin interface. From any idea detail sheet, click the 3 dot menu at the upper right and select "Split Idea." You can also split an idea from the activity feed.
We'll create a new idea for you (you can edit the title and description of the idea) and bring over the supporters from the existing idea along with the other relevant fields.
This is really useful for:
- Taking a large idea and breaking it apart so that you can track 2 ideas separately
- If you've partially completed an open idea, create a new idea with the remaining work and close the original idea. This will let you know if the remaining functionality is nice to have or truly necessary.
