Ideas list in admin page should be keyboard accessible The Ideas page does not seem to be keyboard accessible. I'm trying to select an item and then use SHIFT+DOWN arrow to select other items, and it doesn't work. I'm also trying to just use the arrow key to highlight up or down the list and press the space bar to check the box for the highlighted item. This doesn't work.

Capture Feedback without linking to Idea Is there a way to enter feedback that isn’t linked to an idea/suggestion? An end-user may enter positive feedback that we would want to track and it may not be associated to a request for action.

Add ability to add clipboard screenshots to Post New Idea As a software developer, screenshots are crucial for users to communicate issues and suggestions to us. We need this functionality when a user is posting a new idea . Previous UserVoice efforts to obtain screenshots were complex and riddled with issues.
I have a better idea. Rather than trying to snip a screenshot, why not allow the user to simply paste an image that is already present in their clipboard? The user can use the Windows Snipping Tool (or any other screen capture tool) to capture the image, and easily paste the clipboard image in the browser/uservoice. This is an…

Allow admins to favorite or bookmark specific ideas so that they can quickly refer back to them later Allow admins to create a list of favorite or bookmarked ideas that they can easily refer back to instead of having to search through all ideas. Filtered views are good but sometimes an admin wants to keep an eye on a handful of ideas across multiple different categories/labels so it would be really helpful to be able to favorite or bookmark ideas to access quickly.

sort search results in user results and see votes When I search as a user from an ideas page for a topic like " layouts" I want to be able to see the vote count next to the idea and sort by highest voted.

Activity Visuals in Suggestions Grid Activity trend columns provided a visual for when support was added to suggestion, allowing teams to evaluate patterns over time.

Field placeholder or Prompt for the Description field It is possible to set the field placeholder text for the suggestion title. This is great and allows me to tailor the ask to suit my audience.
I would like to be able to do the same for the suggestion description field. This would enable me to create a more instructional prompt to guide the user on what to enter into the field.
Alternatively allow configuring a prompt for the description field (as we have for title).3 votes -
Ability to expand the UserVoice submission box. When submitting a Uservoice submission, it would be really helpful if the box where text is entered could be expanded. Currently it is tiny, and I am unable to view the whole submission for review.

Add Column Sort to all columns make all columns sortable in Users, Accounts and Ideas. For example, on the Suggestions page, several columns have ability to sort, but not Labels. On the Users page, can click to sort by Last Active Date but not User Type or Account. Please make all columns sortable.

Comments Vs. Public status vs. Message subscribers should be more obvious within Admin view When logged in as an Admin, viewing Suggestions.
I find it difficult to know if the comments are "public" or "private"This should be obvious when viewing the comments, so that if a customer accidentally posts something "sensitive" in the comments field I can easily detect this and mark the comment as private!
Retaining the comment with the suggestion (for admins), but hiding it from other public users of the forum.3 votes -
Be able to choose a page when navigating suggestions On a list of suggestions, could we have the possibility to choose a page and to go to the first or the last page of the list.
This would also help you keep track of where you are, in case you refresh the page you will not be taken back to page 1.

Do not close/archive suggestions here I've noticed that some of the suggestions I've posted here are archived. IMHO, they are still relevant. IMHO, archiving suggestions does not make any sense - this would just result in duplicates created by others in a while.
Thus, please stop archiving/hiding/closing old suggestions and restore those that are archived.

You are right. Silently archiving suggestion is not a good customer experience.
While we will need to decline ideas that don’t align with our Product Team’s vision, we need to communicate that to our customers.
We are declining this idea because we will have to close out suggestions, but we are going to work to communicate much more openly around this going forward.

Show category on the "Related Activity and Moderation" page Display category on the Activity and Moderation page, so admins can quickly identify if an idea has been incorrectly categorized.

Add place to post guidelines, instructions for a forum. Want to be able to post announcements and guidelines for the forum. While you can add some content in the welcome or forum message, these distract from user engaging with the forums.
Would like to be able to post rich content that displays within the overall UV experience.

Remove irrelevant options from activity feed kabob options When you click the "kabob" option next to an item in an activity feed, you always get the same options.
These include options for converting to a ticket, which is only done on suggestions and not on other objects in the activity feed, such as comments and requests.
The options in the kabob should change depending on the object you are on.

Ability to filter by labels when looking at a user's suggestions though the Users & Accounts list When I am looking at a user's supported suggestions through the user & account's list in the admin portal I would like the ability to filter their supported suggestions by labels.

Date field on Public Statuses so users know when an idea will be completed It will be useful to have a date field on public status updates stating when an idea will be completed. For example, if I apply a status "Started," I would be prompted to enter a date when the idea is expected to be completed.
This provides a concrete date to the user and the user knows exactly when to expect the feature release.
