View all ideas, tickets, and users related to a specific company account You can view all ideas a user has created, but being able to see all ideas a company has created would be even more useful, and help you see what a company as a whole wants vs. just individual users.
Now that we have the “account” trait, it would be great if we could consolidate all related users, feedback, and support tickets from users belonging to that organization (e.g., “Acme Co.”).

allow admins to unmerge ideas I merged two ideas by mistake, and there's now no way to unmerge them. An "unmerge" button next to merged ideas would be very helpful.

Allow users to allocate priority across their already supported ideas For example, each user gets 100 "feedbucks" (still working on that term) that are by default evenly distributed across all their already voted on suggestions. User can then adjust their points to highlight certain suggestions with a higher priority.
So I could vote up 50 ideas, and my $100 would by default be split to $2 per idea. If I vote for another idea, the split would be cut down to ~$1.96 per idea, but could at any time redistribute my $100 according to priority. No limits to votes, but secondary metric to allow me to communicate priority.

Thanks for the this feedback and continued support of this idea.
Two weeks back we introduced a new feature to the web portal that allows users to convey an importance rating to ideas when providing feedback. If you haven't seen it just yet, head to UserVoice at your first convenience. We've been getting very helpful feedback since release and will continue to be looking for ways to improve this feature for our customers.

Allow accounts to require email confirmation/password for public forums UserVoice's default sign in on public forums does not require users confirm their email address or create a password to post ideas, vote or comment. Customers would like the option to make these a requirement.
45 votesHello,
A few weeks back we updated the experience for our email authentication option.
While passwords are no longer needed for authentication, this update does require email confirmation to authenticate into UserVoice. This is achieved by requiring users to click a link in their emails to authenticate into the application.
Thanks,

Sortable search results If you search in a forum in the admin console, you can't sort the results. The system will display them in the order of relevance.
However, if you are searching and pulling up a long list of ideas, you need to be able to sort those results by supporters, or created at so you can find the relevant ideas you're looking for.
43 votesGreetings from UserVoice,
Now, when working with the suggestions grid in the admin console, admins have ability to sort search results by any of the sortable columns. Check it out!
Be sure to let us know what you think.
Thanks for the feedback!

Rich-text formatting for idea status updates It would be great if I could format admin responses to ideas using a WYSIWYG editor.
43 votesHello! You can now apply rich-text editing to status updates!
- Make text bold
- Add italics
- Underline text
- Hyperlink text
- Add headers

Display when a suggestion received votes over time Being able to view the last time an idea received a vote would be a handy feature to have - being able to see if there are older ideas with few votes and no recent activity would help determine whether or not to decline that idea.

Bulk status updates Change the status of one or more suggestions at once when viewing a list of suggestions.
41 votesGreetings from UserVoice,
We’ve recently made it possible for admins to send status updates (public and internal) on multiple suggestions at a time.
On the suggestion grid, in the admin console, see “More Actions” when selecting more than one suggestion.
Thanks for the feedback.

Ability to search for ideas through Slack integration Ability to search for an idea through Slack integration. We currently have this functionality through another tool we used called Guru. Basically, I can type /guru TOPIC in slack and it would pull up all these articles that we have compiled re: TOPIC and post the info and link into Slack. Looking for similar functionality with UserVoice.
38 votesHey there,
See the attached image for a quick preview of how the UserVoice for Slack integration allows you to search for UserVoice Ideas from Slack.
Thanks,

Bulk label actions Be able to apply/remove labels to ideas in bulk
38 votesBulk label modification is now available! From the Suggestions grid you will be able to select multiple items and then use the new “Modify Labels” option under the More Actions menu. You will see the current status of the labels on your selection, and will be able to add or remove labels across the entire selection. There will be an undo option after completing this action. Please try this out and give us your feedback. Happy labeling!

Don't allow SSO users to override their email and password Being on our SSO implementation, we see a major problem with the
ability for users to change their passwords and email addresses while in UserVoice. This gives
the user the impression that they have changed their emails and password in our system as
well, which of course means they can't login to the site.38 votesWe just rolled out this functionality! If you are using Single Sign On (SSO) as your only option for authentication, your users will no longer see the option to update their email address and password in UserVoice.
If you using SSO in conjunction with UserVoice’s default authentication, then users will be able to edit their username and email since you allow both sign in options.

Ability to print or export the Activity Report Allow me to print or export the dashboard so I can present it to my Exec team.
37 votesWe just released a new feature that allows you to download the Activity Report as a PDF. This is a great way to quickly share your UserVoice activity with colleagues and stakeholders. You can also download each individual chart as an image, making them easy to add to documents and presentations.

View new items since a certain date Make it easier to triage new items added since a certain date
34 votesHi everyone!
We’ve added several features to help you triage new activity on your forums.
First, navigate to your forum in the admin console and click “all open suggestions” → then click on the Activity and Moderation" tab.
You can then set a date filter to view all new comments, ideas and feedback during that time frame. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/74001861a910
If you are on the suggestions grid, you can also sort by “updated,” which includes any new comments, support or requests on the idea in addition internal changes to an idea. Screenshot: https://cl.ly/70a737807e01
Have additional functionality you would like to see or questions about how the functionality works? Please, let us know!

Add option to turn on users' RECEIVE COMMENT UPDATES setting by default In order to build up critical mass to where our UserVoice forum is really useful, it's important for our users to know that others are reading/commenting on their suggestions (otherwise they'll jsut stop making suggestions).
Setting the RECEIVE COMMENT UPDATE on by default would really help build this critical mass.
Yes, some people would object to the extra emails but in a small forum it wouldn't be too bad (and the users always have the ability to turn it off easily)
33 votesYour end-users can opt-in/out of comment notifications in their profile settings. By default they are opted-out. However, a UserVoice admin can change this default behavior in “Settings – Feedback Forums – Enable comment notifications by default”. If this setting is enabled by an admin, any new end-users will be automatically opted-in to comment notifications.

Allow admins to set the creator on ideas that are captured on a users behalf. Allow UserVoice Admins to Submit Ideas on Behalf of a Customer
It would be very helpful if UserVoice allowed a UV administrator to be able to create a UV suggestion/idea on behalf of a user, as if they submitted it.
From time to time, it may make more sense for us to go ahead and create a suggestion for the customer versus asking them to do it.
Currently, UV supports the ability to submit feedback on behalf of a customer, but not the idea itself.
32 votesWe have launched a new feature where you can select who is the creator / requestor of an idea when it is submitted by an admin or contributor. In doing so, you can see which end-user originally requested the idea and know who to follow up with as needed.

Filter ideas based on created date range When viewing an idea in the admin console, you can see the date it was created. This is sort of helpful, but you still have to count backward to determine the age of the idea.
It would be helpful if the actual age of the idea was also shown for admins. Like created 2 weeks ago, or 1 month ago, or 2 years ago. This way they can quickly see how old the idea is.
It would also be helpful if you could then filter ideas based on the age. So you could view all ideas that are 1 month…
32 votesHello 👋
Idea creation date is a new filter available to you with advanced filtering. It allows you to identify ideas created in a time range you determine.
More on advanced filters here.
Thanks for this feedback.
